A red and white version of that would be good, definitely my favourite strip at the WC.

Worked well for us under Burley....

Probably just some random punts, I can't even find him on BetVictor's site. I'm never too sure how much to read into odd's when it comes to things like this, they also have Pellegrini on shorter odds than Alan Curbishley to be our next manager!
-
Better keep him away from Fonte's missus then.

8 points would put us on 20 going into the new year. Halfway through the season and on half the points we're always told are needed to avoid relegation, I'd be happy with that.

Major positive for me is how bad some of the other teams have been. Before the start of the season I thought we would struggle mainly because the league looked so much stronger this year, but there are around half a dozen other teams who already look like they will be spending most of their time around the relegation zone. If we can beat most of them home and away I think we should be ok.

Comparisons with last season's promoted sides

QPR beat Everton in their second game last year, but I'd look more at the Norwich and Swansea stats as we are a more similar team to them than QPR. -
I was trying to decide whether to go to this one or the Wigan game, thanks Channel 5 for making the decision for me

Thought the press conference was something to do with Jaidi?

This theory of Cortese wanting to spend big and Adkins wanting to be cautious doesn't really fit with the rumour we're going back in for Gary Hooper with a £7m bid. Clearly if its true Hooper is an Adkins choice, and £7m is a lot for a striker playing in a league which is miles below the Premier League in terms of quality.

The St Mary's Stadium and Liebherr Zepplin Aeroport....I like the sound of it!

Think McCormack at Leeds would be a better bet than Emnes, and probably cheaper. He's just as quick and seems a more consistent scorer, don't think Emnes has hit the net for a few games now.

Can't find a link to this now, but Man Utd and Chelsea both came out pretty strongly against this idea yesterday. This is dead in the water.

I'm planning on going but am not a season ticket holder, is this likely to sell out before it goes on general sale?

Looks more like he's recently been raised from the dead than measles! What's that guy next to him listening to? -
Burnley away, 2-1 loss

BBC says McLaren will take over at Forest on Monday. That could either be a master-stroke or a disaster for them.

Isn't he off to der Munchen?

They were partly founded by dockers and sailors from Southampton who adopted their hometown club's colours (black shorts included).

West Ham will be the weakest of the three, they're still £100 million in debt, that's just about sustainable in the PL, but not in the NPC. They'll lose all their good players and sack Grant, they'll be in complete disarray. Blackpool would be the team I'd fear facing if they get relegated, say what you like about Holloway the man, as a manager he's done a great job, and barring Charlie Adam I imagine they would keep the core of their squad together. They're also financially far more stable than most PL & NPC clubs meaning they could cope with the financial cost of relegation a lot better than West Ham, Wolves or Blackburn.

Or Andrew Surman in disguise?
