The trouble is, is that once inside the stadium you are a captive audience. As you, so rightly, say it's going to be far better to put your bets on online or shop locally before going in through the turnstiles in future. I hope people vote with their feet on this one (especially as, from another thread on here, they are clearly active skates)

Very, very nervy early on but I would preserver with him and not send him out on loan to anyone especially as nerves are usually temporary and he does look decent.

Hi Rut, I hope you are well. Had a 3-1 win at the new stadium bookies at 12-1. Not impressed with them at all, particularly the odds but also the 20 minute wait to pick up the winnings after the final whistle. I'm definitely not using the stadium bookies again having used Ladbrokes for the past few seasons :-(

Dirty, pikey skate inbreds, it's a known fact ;-) I, really, REALLY don't care about them enough to lose any sleep though (how I wish we could sing the 'we don't care about you' song next season). I only care about Saints and how we can beat the next opposition whoever that may be. The skate inbreds care more about hating us than liking their own team. How sad is that? That's why they'll always be below us.

I recommend that people make their own plans to get there. The last two visits were a farce and I don't expect it to be any different this time. I'll be getting the direct train from Eastleigh (Waterloo to P&S) at a time that ensures I'll be in the sh!thole before kick-off.

I wouldn't bother again for sure. It's probably my fault for not reading the small print but once you're locked into it you can't get out of it. I tried to stop my subscription after about 6 months and no matter how hard I tried to stop it, they kept taking the subscription until I was forced to close my bank account. What a pain in the ar$e?

Number 1; "Adkins, Adkins what's the score?" at the Withdean But many others including "we don't care about you" at Bournemouth. The football throughout the season was fantastic too ;-)

How many people have moved ST seats this season?
Saint Malc replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
In the sixties and seventies it was the Milton for me for the sheer excitement. Later, during the eighties and nineties, it was the Archers and as age catches up with me I am a bit jealous of the Northam lot tbh. But, I wouldn't change my seat, six rows behind the home dugout, for anything in the world now. -
What Games Are You Missing This Season Then And Why!?!
Saint Malc replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
I won't be missing any :-) -
I used to think Seabourne was the dogz until Peterborough away last season where he got run ragged by CMS. He's still much better than Monk though, who's a bit of a donkey IMO.

I work away during the week. Does anyone know if the ticket office is open on Saturday mornings so I can take my daughters passport in?

For those that saw Gobern at Brentford, no one should shed a tear at this news. Never did anything at all for me (during his sub appearances the lot).

Championship fixtures released - Leeds at home first
Saint Malc replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
I will not be taking police advice for the away trip to the pikey's this time. The first premier trip we got in the ground 25 minutes after kick-off and the last one we missed 10 minutes. I'm going to make my own arrangements for the train this time (probably Eastleigh to Fratton). -

I've done one of those Outlook fixture thingy's if anyone's interested. The only thing is I don't know how to put it in the public domain so, maybe, I could send it to someone who could. -
73/74 was the worst for me :-( At half-time on the last day we were winning at Goodison and Norwich (already relegated) were winning 1-0 at Birmingham and if it stayed like that we would survive. We went on to win 3-0 but Birmingham came back to win 2-1 so we were down. As a 14 year-old I cried my eyes out all evening.

I have to agree with (not THE) regarding Viafara. He was excellent at Pride Park for the play off game but absolute sh1te for the rest of the time. But you had to love him for his effort and enthusiasm for 100% of the time.

From what I've seen of Gobern, in particular at Brentford, he must be amazing in training to see him still in negotiation. I can't see the point of him myself.

Next season I'd like to hear the 'we don't care about you....' song to the skate inbreds. That'd, mightily, p!ss the pikey mongs off :-)

This has probably been mentioned before: Poyet has been a brilliant manager for BHA. He came to SMS with the sole intention of getting a point and his time-wasting tactics worked a treat. If we'd have beaten BHA that night we would be champions.

How many Saints games have you been to this season?
Saint Malc replied to The Cat's topic in The Saints
I'm trying to do 'the 92' but with only where Saints are involved and I'm on 79. I will lose Stockport and, probably, Barnet next season but hope that Luton come up to make it back up to 78. Next season I hope that Wigan have been relegated so I can add the only ground in the top three divisions (apart from the Emirates although I've been to Highbury dozens of times) I haven't been to as they got promoted when we got relegated from the Prem. Is there anyone with the same aspirations? -

I've never been to, or even heard of, one of those **** measuring thingy's. What's it like AS? -

Every one of 'em including Sutton and Barnet :-) (but not FC Thun or FC Souchaux so a bit of a lightweight). -
Hiya Janet, I hope you are well. Nothing through for Brighton for me yet either.

If you go to every (or nearly every) away game as a registered travel club member you get sent tickets automatically and they debit your credit card automatically. Plus you don't have to go by coach ;-)

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not. My son had arranged a weekend in London (he's at Manchester Uni) with his mates from Winchester last weekend. He'd arranged the accommodation before getting tickets but when he tried to get tickets they were all sold out. He went along to Brisbane Road anyway and walked up to their ticket office, just before kick-off, to find that he had a choice of tickets; in the Saints bit or in the home area. He, along with his mates, chose the Saints bit and had great seats I'm with the travel club so away tickets come to me automatically but if I struggled to get a Brentford ticket I know what I'd do after Saturday's episode.
