  1. "The Pony Punchers", I like it, could catch on.
  2. Exactly. Some are being a little too sensitive about this. That said, there were certainly more fingers on show in those first few rows than teeth, I'll tell you that FOUR-NOTHING.
  3. I gave up my ST a couple of years back so rightly don't deserve to be there tonight but as someone else who was there in 1984, enjoy it lads, it's lovely that winning feeling in their backyard.
  4. FFS WAC.
  5. I think Sky will be fading our fans out as usual as too many expletives in our short repertoire of chants for their audience on TV but hopefully all who are their are doing it for the lads on the pitch. Sha-la-la.
  6. There were only around 50 tickets left yesterday evening which may well be gone by now, so over 2,800 going up - hope it's a bit better for those travelling than when we went up last time. Good ground, vocal home support, the makings of a good PL fixture, I'd take a draw.
  7. Would seem most appropriate then to see him off with victory at a warm September afternoon at Brammall Lane tomorrow. RIP sir
  8. The attention-seeking freak has got the attention he craves.
  9. Probably the 2 coldest games I’ve ever attended were home and away to Sheff Utd. Must be getting on for 30 years ago, away game up there in freezing fog, think we were 4 down in something like 20 minutes. Eventually lost 4-1. Then a home game in December around a decade ago at St Mary’s, was like sitting in a fridge. Can’t remember the score, was more more concerned with losing a limb through frostbite.
  10. *slight correction Ever. Anywhere. By anyone.
  11. What they lack in dentists they make up for with paediatricians from paulsgrove.
  12. And the home of the Cammora, one tough place but southern Italy, Almalfi coast down is fantastic. Great fans too. Just a thought, England at St Mary's in a couple of weeks may have an extra edge now, will they be 'bubbling' any visiting skates?
  13. It was just about this in 2005, they continually delayed our train out of Central with all kinds of ropey excuses. It was a train with a lot of 'old faces' on it so they wanted most of their lot inside the ground before we arrived. It was then the slowest escort surrounded by the Robocops with just the odd toothless gimp waiting around or hanging out of windows. Not that it was a bad thing in hindsight, we were already 2 goals down long before we got inside so at least only had to watch less of that gutless Redknapp side out on the pitch.
  14. Can only assume it's correct but a poster has just said Fulham will be selling tickets on the night to Saints fans. Worth checking and confirming before travelling up.
  15. That'll be handy for some but a bit late for most. Can't blame the club for not taking extra tickets if only offered last minute, why Fulham just didn't open the Putney End for Saints fans was crazy, they were never likely to sell out home seats despite only 3 sides to the ground right now, they could easily accommodated their new Putney End ST holders elsewhere.
  16. They've certainly got some dosh sloshing around
  17. On their official site... https://www.rcdespanyol.com/en/news/escola-rcde-one-of-the-teams-playing-in-2019-espanyol-sangao-league-cup/_n:9682/
  18. You're correct but a closer look is required.
  19. https://spainsnews.com/espanyol-makes-official-the-arrival-of-corchia-and-calleri-is-falling/ Fake News?
  20. I think it just makes them sleepy.
  21. Their next home game is with Millwall, that mixed concourse be edgy. Tickets went on sale today, we'll soon find out if their fans are buying in blocks P1-P4.
  22. Blimey, even their own players had a go
  23. Fulham will probably offer us the entire end, £20 tickets and we'll take 5,000 up there.
  24. Fulham are away to Cardiff live on Sky on Friday that week so looking like Tuesday. The Met won't want 2 games in the area on the same night, particularly one with 'potential' with visiting fans, so QPR likely home the following day.
  25. Just say the 'Big 6' did leave the PL for some Euro Super League, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheff Wed, Everton, Villa and West Ham would soon replace them as the new 'Big 6'. I'd put us in the next group capable of troubling them but that group would also include Sunderland, Wolves, Leicester, Palace, Derby and Forest. And just behind them would see clubs like Norwich, WBA, Brum, Cardiff, Boro, Stoke and maybe another London club competing. There's your new PL, more chance maybe but a few more big clubs that will just get more powerful.
