Foooking Hell, they really believe all that bullshyte don't they
-
He did pop up on, I think, South Today a couple of days ago, didn't catch it all but he was referring to the derby match but wouldn't use the word 'Southampton'! Maybe he thought all the skates would love him for it.
-
That would be sweet wouldn't it. Unfortunately I'd guess O'Hara returning could be part of the deal? But hopefully the PL will be sooo p*ssed off with them not paying wages again they'll immediately reinstate to embargo and any deals done in the last few deals are null-and-void. Wishful thinking.

Oh. Dear. Are we doing a minute's silence, applause or bounce for them at SMS on Saturday :smt102
-
Not a good example. 1500 advanced tickets sold to watch a bunch of 60 yr olds chase a ball round, I'm sure more would have been sold leading up to the game but as it was cancelled well before we'll never know. A good example. 25,000 turning up at SMS for a 'league' game and similar attendances for the next and last two in our 'hour of need'. And you had a ground that held 30-odd(very odd!)thousand in 1987 when you came up (significantly larger than the Dell) and your "massive support" that year could only half-fill fartton for most of the season
-
Well, they don't. Anymore. Because they've been found out. Deluded Fools. FWIW we had something like 120,000 applications for our 2003 Cup Final ticket allocation.
-
BUT you would have thought that all those thousands that have stayed away from most of your home games, and with the loadsa money they've obviously saved in doing so, surely a few more could have found just THIRTY-FIVE POUNDS! for your most important game of the season to date? :smt102

Wonder whether they'd fancy a feisty derby atmosphere to make their debut? Anyway, they wouldn't be able to get here, didn't someone say on here yeaterday they'd had their bus confiscated?
-
Or encourage those who felt it wasn't necessary to get one in this division, how it now makes sense for so many reasons and, if you're reading Mr Luker, a great opportunity to re-open Blocks 1 and 2 and make it even more appealing!

I had the misfortune of being in the portsmuff area yesterday evening and all the talk down there is of the prospect of a giant-killing but I don't think it's certain the skates will win :smt023

Hopefully the Leeds v Carlisle tie last night has woken a few up and while Johnstone's Paint are probably praying for a Saints v Leeds final with Wembley bursting at the seams and a wonderful bit of publicity, Carlisle v MK Dons suddenly appears a distinct possibility. Setting off in the next couple of hours - roll your sleeves up Saints and get the job done.

I couldn't hear United fans singing "Argentina, Argentina" when Tevez smashed in that penalty in front of them
-
What, that club that got crowds in the mid-20,000s for the last few games at the bottom of League One? Significantly more than the skates can throw together in the Premiership. Saints fans didn't desert their club, they deserted Rupert Lowe, proof being in the crowds that returned on his departure. Ended in a very good result tbf.
-
I'd have to go for old saggy chops, Wupie must've offered him a small fortune to jump ship from the blue-few - oh hang on, he didn't know he would end up down here after walking out of the skates did he :^o
-
Always been a Brentford fan as far as I now, are you sure you're not getting confused with Gavin Davies (same initials!).
-
Yeah, what was it, sure it was ****ney rhyming slang for Harry Redknapp? Oh, that's it 'Bunty'.
-
Bagpuss: Can you keep your mouth shut Fred? Fred: HOW* *Harry On-his-way-to Wandsworth
-
What  Arry 'Teflon' Redders?!!! Who'd have thought, must be some kind of mistake, f'sure :^o

I'd bet none were complaining when they got promoted, won the FA Cup and got into Europe. I'd also bet they only feel they're mecenaries now they're in the ****, weren't Prosinecki, Merson, Sheringham, Berger, Stone, etc. all mercenaries in those "pre Premiership" days when they accepted extortinate salaries that ultimately led to their present predicament?

Let's hope they've also got some drainage then! I was joking, no way will this game be off. -

A balmy 7 degrees Saturday - the only way this game will be off is if all the snow melts and waterlogs the pitch! -
Good call. We could be a division above them next season :smt023

We've had fans on here in panic about lack of tickets sold for a number of games this season when, come the great day, large numbers turn up. Although it's understandable a few faint-hearted supporters may decide to give this one a swerve, now it's general sale, and also pay on the day, I'd say most tickets will be taken by kick-off - still 5 days away! -
The trouble they may have now is many are probably waiting for the 'next allocation' so they're behind the goal and not stuck in the corner. The only bugger is they won't send the next batch until the corner ones are all sold first. Any 800 takers for corner tickets?
