They're mocking them on the Spurs forums - and probably buying their tickets now they're on open general sale to absolutely anyone.
-
They really should shout a bit louder about that.
-
I see your location is Dublin - are they voting on a UK Government over there? I'll go 'undecided' in our poll for now as they're all a bunch of b*llsh*tting, self-serving muppets - but if any party says they'll push for the re-introduction (or at least promise to look at) safe-standing at football matches they may at least attract my attention. Oh, and while we're at it, beer allowed in seating areas, corrupt, tax-dodging, cheating football clubs dealt with appropriately, sensible ticket pricing and sort out them ******* pot-holes.

I had realised what you meant, my bad, I just used the opportunity to make a comparison between our gates and another "big" club in this division.
-
But worth pointing out that they only had 17k at home yesterday and they're chasing automatic promotion. 21,559 was very good (probably only less than Champions Norwich?) for a team that, let's face it, isn't really expected to make the play-offs now.

Throughout the 70s and 80s if we were playing in Yellow it was always "C'mon You Yeeelloooooows", it only changed after Swindon visited the Dell some time in the 90s and made quite a racket with "Yellows, Yellows, Yellows, etc." and, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, we just copied it. And it's always been "C'mon You Reds" since I started going early 70s - and it used to be belted out with a bit of feeling rather then the limp-wristed effort we get these dayszzzzzzzzzzz!

Still early days. Many believe the season's over already - a win on Thursday may change a few minds, however, lose and.............................................................

Apparantly we were being linked with the up and coming Irish lad Nick O'Teen but he stub-bed his toe and it all went up in smoke. Playtime over, back to school.

I believe you live in a 'PO' area - bet those flags look luvverly flying proudly down p*mp*y way!
-
Actually, around 7,000 under capacity at the time. Seems to be a trait they can't shake off.

So how many will now be logging in as 'Fan The Flames' to post on his behalf?

Very unsmug thread for those STILL waiting for tickets

I get the feeling we'll be hearing all kinds of horror stories come Monday morning. Tickets, traffic, trains - please don't let the pubs run dry :partyman: Good luck all. -
Did you include the OTT stewards and police surrounding them? Looked barely a hundred - still fair play to the ones that did make it.
-
I don't think anyone would complain too loudly if they left the front two or three rows empty. Another problem addressed - come on Wembley/whoever get yer finger out.

Confusing? 'John D' link dated 18th May: This one also dated 18th May: http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10367~1658745,00.html states (halfway down page) allocation of 37,500 and then this link from 'marc_saint' dated 25th May: All Millwall 'Official Site'

£25 for some of the 'best seats in the house', don't think they'll hang around. Doubtful but have they opened Block 1?
-
4 I believe. Charlton home, MK Dons home/away and, of course, the final. Don't think it will all add up to a great amount but money made all the same. The merchandise (and Wembley coach travel!) could be the greatest earner, I seem to remember we made getting on for a £million in the Megastore in 2003?
-
Someone raised a good point earlier in one of these Wembley allocation threads that probably needs highlighting. We keep hearing that we can't have any more seats due to segregation/concourse/turnstile issues but, as was pointed out, how do they do it when England play? There can be anything from just a couple to ten thousand visiting fans, just how do they get over these issues in that situation - and also proves it can be done. Maybe the club should push the authorities on this?
-
The only extra seats conceivably available to us are in the upper tier 517-522 as Carlisle have sold seats in their other sections. The trouble is these seats are right above an area populated by their fans which could potentially throw up a few problems. I'm also guessing this could mean both sets of fans would be using the same turnstile block? Still, if anyone could convince them to give us more surely Mr Cortese could.
-
Wont last that long! Cheapest way to purchase tickets once they're gone will be to go onto the Carlisle website, find their box office number and do the deed. The price from touts will be ridiculous for a JPT Final.
-
I'd be surprised if this final was on the 'restricted' list as it's a permanant fixture. Let's pretend Carlisle had taken their full entitlement and sold them (they got around 3,500 at home to Millwall last night!), then if all Club Wembley members took up their seats then it would have been a sell-out. As it would have, had we been playing dirty-Leeds.
-
Why any Southampton fan would want to go and watch either of those sides unless we were playing them is a mystery. Even if you did you're very unlikely to get a ticket as WHL is always sold out to home fans and, as hard as it is to believe, even the blue-few could surely find a couple of thousand for such a close important fixture. There's also the 'King 'Arry/Judas' (depending how they feel that day) factor. So, in short, no.
-
I'd like to think you're right - but if we are 3-up at half-time don't ease up Saints, I've never really got over THAT night a few years back. Lest we forget.
