There's just been a statement on the Plymouth OS thanking Saints for their generosity in giving them 6,000 away tickets but couldn't understand why they were split at opposite ends of the stadium.

Has anyone ever said the club "owe" its customers an instalment plan? (maybe someone on here did but I can't be bothered to look) I think most people's (who had one) gripe was that it was withdrawn very late when they were probably expecting to pay that way, as they had for numerous seasons before. With a bit more notice and communication these threads probably wouldn't have existed. Then again...............................

I'm going to predict, due to fans request, half-STs are reintroduced just before Christmas.

IF true they've got another 3 weeks to get it up to last season's total (around 13,500) before the ticket office window slams shut til next summer. Unless some big signing is in waiting it probably wont happen.

I believe it was about that for start of season and then sold another 1,500 or so half-STs around Christmas. As there's no more ST sales at all after the 8th August they're obviously very confident of packing them in for the run-in.

I believe around half-piste seven - what happened to all those threeeeze o'clock kick-offs?

If Mr Liebherr was throwing buckets loads at us regardless you'd have a point but are we now just living within our means? We got lucky and he cleared our debts and we've been allowed to start again on a level playing field. We just have a big advantage as we get far better attendances and have a first class set-up/facilities compared to most at this level. The same in every league with different sized clubs - if we were in the Premier League right now I'd imagine our level, with support and capacity, would be just above mid-table. Any club capable of 30k-plus crowds at League One level really shouldn't be there. Cortese has stated we need the club to be self-supporting financially, so hopefully we'll get there by being a well-run club.

As we found out last season everyone was 'up for it' playing us, Sheff Wed (I know they've been here before) will experience exactly the same thing. How many unpredictable 'local derbies' will they have? We have to be targeting top 2, I think Wednesday will be doing the same - at least they wont be starting -10.

I'd say many of us feel ST prices are reasonable but most have probably felt a little p*ssed (as mentioned a thousand times) at the 'no instalment/late notice/no half ST/No ST sales after August/etc.' but we were also probably one of very few that didn't offer existing ST holders an 'Early Bird' option. As mentioned the majority of ST fans at other clubs would have renewed at those far lower prices, for example, Swindon's was under £200.
