  1. No doubt there were. Not disputing away fans get into home areas, I'm sure we've all done it ourselves a number of times, but nowhere near the levels that the opposition usually claim, they just get carried away with themselves.
  2. What, like it was gonna be 'awash' with West Ham last week? Same old chatter, never really happens, pinch of salt required.
  3. OK, here's the proof he certainly ain't MLG
  4. Although, tbf, you didn't remember how to type boos
  5. It would be interesting to know who's behind all this - it's been said the owners SR leave the day-to-day running of the club to other departments and the major investor is Serbian so he's used to far more volatile and fervent fanbase than anything seen in this country so wouldn't think he'd be looking to dumb down the support any more than it already is. Our CEO has stated how tough it is to go away with SFC, ruining his family weekend and having to put up with luxury travel, comfy directors seats and all the posh food that goes with it (he probably doesn't get paid enough for all that inconvenience), so I'm guessing he ain't too in touch with your 'average Joe' fan. But whatever their intentions they're seriously jeopardising a sizeable chunk of their core support.
  6. Up there with SFC's finest, etched into the history of this football club Adios Oriol
  7. About the same as we took up to Sheffield Utd in this cup last season
  8. Sad news, great memories. Part of probably the best ever Saints side, and played his part in one of the greatest goals
  9. Does this make MLG a 'saga' lout?
  10. Vigilant fan: Officer! Officer! There’s a bunch of drunken Leeds fans in the boxes causing trouble and spitting and throwing things at the Saints fans in front of them Officer Dibble: Thank you for letting us know madam, we’ll deal with it immediately… …all units to Row MM, pull out all home fans in vicinity, don’t hold back, go-go-go!
  11. Or anyone to cough up what we're really asking (it surely has to be more than the reported £15m) - maybe some interested parties have backed off willing to wait and hope for a last minute bargain in a few weeks from a desperate club. PL striker (tick) Current international (tick) Signed for £15m from the Championship 3 years ago (tick) Travesty if he does go without replacing and for no more than £15m.
  12. That's good - hopefully the club have stuck a £60m+ valuation on his head and told them to fook off
  13. Persistent Mythmakers Pesky Misfits Perennial Malfunction Pathetic Mockneys Poisson Meddlers TCWTB = Potbellied Mess
  14. Nice, not so much Ajax but more Totton Dynamos (with matching shorts Tyro League circa early-mid 70s).
  15. Be nice if they need to concentrate on the title race now but I'm struggling to ignore the thought that keeps suggesting 'backlash'. Step up Saints.
  16. I'd imagine that's just a priority thing, Chelsea would still need to buy the away tickets from the home club and then allocate them to those signed up. And they can't but anything right now. It will probably end up with us and everyone else selling directly to Chelsea fans - but with a hefty service charge to cover the inconvenience.
  17. Will need a good show and positive result tonight to shift many more Watford tickets in the next couple of days.
  18. Strange they've used a picture of Brentford v West Ham (or that something with Ankersen?)
  19. Hardly "preaching". I acknowledged some would have genuine reasons for not going, have a read back. But if someone, who could, can't be bothered to get off their arse while berating others for not taking it seriously then they ain't in a good place to be so vocal. If that's not you, good on ya, ignore it. Cup now takes precedent for this season for me.
  20. I'm assuming all those demanding the club take the cup seriously won't be the ones sat on the match thread all night tonight (as many of our most critical posters always seem to be whether home or away). There was still around a thousand tickets left last night, 5,000 of the attendance will be cockneys. No doubt some have genuine reasons for not going but some need to put their money where they mouths are and actually go to a game and give their passionate support. Maybe don't slate the manager if he does make changes if you're not quite so "serious" with the cup yourself. For the record, if there are changes and we come unstuck, you're more than entitled to have a pop if you were there.
  21. That was a cracker - from the DE the week following the spineless showing down the road. “They had felt so angry after last week's performance against their local rivals. They were hurting and they had been scathing of the players for putting them through it. But there was no hint of recriminations or finger pointing. Instead, just rousing support. The stands were red and white, the atmosphere incredible and the noise unbelievable. Never has St Mary's enjoyed an atmosphere like this one. There's no doubt it helped a team who were surely worried about what sort of reception they'd get after last week's debacle” SAINTS 4 - NORWICH 3 | Daily Echo Sha-la-la...
  22. Despite another 'sell-out', bets on how many seats still showing empty on the day?
  23. Certainly looking like it's heading for a sell-out for home fans. 8 seats left in the Chapel, 13 in the Itchen and 150 or so in the Kingsland. Northam all gone plus the extra 'away' blocks, so most of this end for a change.
  24. In light of this breaking news I'm going to change my prediction to 31,275
  25. Was less than 200 left earlier so will sell-out shortly. But a 'sell-out' at St Mary's rarely means at capacity as always little blocks of seats left empty and bound to be some popping up on the exchange. It will be 31,274, ITK.
