  1. How many are Inter bringing? I think we've got Block 44 so probably means they've got around 1,500 with segregation. You'd think they sell those to the Inter UK supporter groups alone, so they should make a colourful lot of noise.
  2. May have been better to keep the corners closed and just open the central section of the Kingsland, prime seats and it will be strange for the players running out the tunnel to an empty stand opposite. Still, a gate of around 24,000 is more than I thought we'd get in these expensive times (and for a reserves fixture!).
  3. Decent city, more about commerce and shopping than tourist attractions but Duomo and surrounding area has great architecture as does Stazione Centrale the main train station! We flew into Bologna on the Thursday and took the 300kmph train to Milan, transportation was fantastic, the Metro and trams in Milan were cheap (or free!) and easy. Took a quick look in the Square to see what was going on but didn't hang around long and soon drinking in bars nearer San Siro, most we paid was 4E for a pint but then 3E for 660ml bottles of Birra Moretti. Far more reasonable than what some were paying elsewhere, particularly the 7E for a small plastic cup of 'beer' inside the stadium, some couldn't believe their luck that it was being served to their seats until they realised it was alcohol-free. Cracking couple of days.
  4. Most holding 'carry-outs' so the must be a Tesciosi Expresso nearby. They'll be plenty of Saints fans travelling up from Bologna Wed/Thurs (we fly in Thursday) so we can all just hold hands to keep safe. It's likely little more than local 'erberts taking advantage of unsuspecting tourists' bulging pockets while they're distracted looking up for train info. Like anywhere, keep an eye on your wallet, etc.
  5. The wind must have been blowing in a favourable direction for the OP, we're in the Kingsland (Northam end) and it was as shocking as ever. Could barely make out a thing being said.
  6. Plucky little p*mpey, bless 'em. Deluded f*ckwits
  7. I think this fixture will be quite intense. The Be'er Sheva players and fans will be bubbling on the back of victory in the San Siro, it's a tight atmospheric stadium (so far removed from West Ham) and they're no doubt a very handy side. And sounds like they're quite up for a visit from a Premier League team, any kind of positive result here will be massive.
  8. As there's a long window presently for members to buy tickets there's little doubt that the club see it as an opportunity to get more members on board, at £25 (nice little earner ) But I don't know why anyone has a problem with this, you have a choice, buy your membership and guarantee a ticket for Milan or take a chance there's not clamour if they get to General Sale. I'm a ST holder but if I wasn't I'd have certainly got the membership, small price to pay for the opportunity to get tickets if we progress and/or (it could happen couldn't it?) we get to a cup final this season.
  9. Famous British atmosphere
  10. Celtic fans flooded the square area when they went there but photos show them holding cans and beer bottles, who'll be the first to spot the offy or local Tescos!
  11. Ta, we're flying into Bologna from Stansted on the Thursday and getting the train to Milan. I believe there's a fast 1hr train or 1hr 30min-ish, will check that out.
  12. And still is, which suggests to me we'll be split top tier and middle tier. The middle tier may possibly hold 9,000 but if there's Inter fans below I would think they'll keep the first few rows clear to avoid the potential of missiles being thrown down onto them so will cut the capacity of that area and possibly wouldn't fit all Saints fans in there. Hopefully us first 5,000 buyers get put in the better middle bit
  13. You could make a massive-money-making, global-appealing, advertisers-dream, World League out of most of these: Real Madrid, Barcelona, (Atletico Madrid, Seville, Valencia), Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, (Spurs), AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus (Napoli, Roma), PSG, (Lyon, Marseille), Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Ajax, Feyenoord, Boca Juniors, River Plate, Glasgow Rangers, Celtic, a couple of Brazil’s top clubs, one or two I’ve probably not considered, and David Beckham’s US-Soccer-Allstars. It wouldn’t just be about the current best clubs but the best names and biggest fan clubs around the world. Rangers and Celtic would probably be invited because they are massive globally, and would just get even bigger with the potential financial field-leveller. It would still have more appeal to the Asian market than the Premier League even if, say, no Chinese team was involved (at the start, anyway). Not for me but can’t see it not happening now, imo.
  14. Oops. Yep, good post. Winning games very quickly changes everything, for players and fans. Just can't see it starting this weekend unfortunately. Roll on Thursday.

  16. I can't see why that would suddenly stop people from going, I couldn't find it any more obscene than I do now, it's inevitable. Besides, it's not going to effect the likes of us, or Everton, or West Ham, just the big 6 at most. We'd suddenly be one of the biggest clubs in the English leagues, elevated from our current mid-size profile. We could even win the league [cough] *although the financial meltdown as TV loses interest in the Premier League might make it a bit tightrope for a few years, we might thank Les for not busting the bank in the transfer market
  17. I'd say Steve Grant is suggesting that fans wanting to guarantee a Milan ticket would just pay the £23 for a ticket but not actually travel to Israel?
  18. Now, I can't speak Italian but this is on their OS regarding home tickets, I'm guessing "Primo Blu € 30" is probably at the Saints end and at the bundle price of € 30. UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE 2016/17 ★ GROUP STAGE - PREZZI Poltroncina Rossa Centrale € 150 Poltroncina Rossa € 100 Primo Rosso € 80 Rosso laterale € 60 Tribuna Arancio € 80 Poltronissima (X) € 70 Poltroncina Arancio Centrale € 65 Poltroncina Arancio € 60 Primo Arancio € 40 Primo Arancio laterale € 35 Primo Verde € 30 Primo Blu € 30 Secondo Verde € 30
  19. Are they no longer making the bottom tier at our end available to Inter fans with their 3-game bundle? I've been told they were - nice of them if they're having a change of heart (not a chance of course, clutching at straws here).
  20. They could have got over this by just giving us the tier below instead which is bigger (1,500-2,000 extra seats?) and wouldn't really need any additional stewarding I know they're putting the lowest tier on sale to home fans and wouldn't want rival fans immediately above, but they just don't need to as the sides (and probably even other end) will be half empty. I bet half'n'half scarves will be popular at this game for home end attemptees
  21. Then hopefully 5,000 is enough! I guess if they're allowing Inter fans to buy the lower tier seats then they won't want Saints fans sat immediately above them. Crazy when the stadium will only be half full, 'neutral' area (if it actually exists) should be popular.
  22. I'm reliably informed that Inter are also doing a 'ticket bundle' for their 3 Europa home games and the lower tier at our end is available for home fans to buy so that probably rules that out. I've also heard that the top tier aint that great. If you're right at the back then that's probably similar to the away fans experience at St James' Park, but too near the front and you'll have a big glass screen in front to watch through. Apparently the stewards won't likely bother about seat numbers and it'll be a bit of a sit-where-you-like affair. Hopefully the 5,000 tickets sell out quickly and they'll release the middle tier. Just had a look on Inter OS so if anyone fancies translating/confirming - only 30E for 3 tickets too! http://www.inter.it/en/biglietteria
  23. You'd be an absolute retard taking one to St Mary's. The ones suggesting are probably already ordering their new AC shirts to bounce up and down in alongside Inter.
  24. I trust anyone suggesting Palestinian flags will be travelling over there with them? Rather that than just waving them at the home game while the ones travelling over there take any backlash? A couple of fans forums to get a feel from the opponents http://forzainterforums.com/showthread.php?13577-UEFA-Europa-League-2016-2017/page5 http://www.microsofttranslator.com/BV.aspx?ref=IE8Activity&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.e-sparta.cz%2Fmistnost-diskuse-o-ac-sparta-praha-fotbal (may have to right click 'translate')
