  1. Are you mental? Seabourne's in his best run of form since he arrived. Why would we take him out now and knock his confidence?
  2. I'd like him to stay just for the way that he flattened that centre back in the Bournemouth game
  3. why can't i hear our fans?
  4. 3 mil for a player who is untested in the pl and out of contract in the summer is good money. rooney was being touted about for 25mil with 18 months left. when he signed a five year deal his value triples. it'll be the same with lallana
  5. sitting down at an away match is absolutely shocking. why? just why?
  6. well done. medal's in the post
  7. Idiakez.......joking aside probably Owen in 98/99 or Henry
  8. i'd rather have Mills than Dickson. End of
  9. in fact i cannot for the life of me remember his first name now despite him being my mates cousin
  10. i'd forgotten he existed
  11. the 90's..... Ian Walkers dodgy curtains. Michael Owen being world class Kevin Davies being a young, agile striker with fast feet. Dellhurst Park Neil Shipperly, Gordon Watson, Franny Benali etc......all players I'd love to have back now Lee Todd and for me the best vthing about the 90's. Turning up to a game, supporting Saints and being the underdog. Applauding every header and tackle won and not moaning when we weren't 3-0 up at half time.
  12. i've no idea who this co*kney c*** is Mr Eriksson.
  13. Dave Jones' team that performed the Great Escape. Post Xmas that year we were epic, although I remember watching our first win that season at home in the pouring rain against Coventry. However, I was fortunate to watch my first game in January 1996 with Le Tiss, Shipperly, Watson etc.
  14. unfortunately he's bought loads of standard players at Boro. No pace or power in the team but very workmanlike and rugged.
  15. I heard from a reliable source why Pardew went. The bloke's an arrogant ***** and deserved the sack.
  16. that building is hideous!! i'd laugh in his face if i ever met him
  17. I voted for Wotton. Just been to breakfast with a Plymouth fan who assures me that he nearly moved to the PL a few years ago.
  18. would we have been better off with Pardew? Who knows? who cares? what I can say though is that now we play the best football that I have seen in a long, long time from a Southampton team. We play quick, possesion football which is great to watch and is winning us games. Under Pardew we did ok but let's be honest the football was absolutely turgid. Now when KD has the ball the centre backs drop off, the full backs go wide and we start to fizz the ball about whereas with Pardew he would wait an age for everybody to push up and then hoof it up to Ricky. Amen to that!!!
  19. Barnard has been brilliant but Lallana makes the difference
  20. Pulis scored!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. anybody here the lee barnard song to the tune of the old bwp stealing from the skates one? what were the words?
  22. For the first time in a long time today I will neither be attending the game or be within radio solent catchment area. Is there anyway of listening to the game via commentary online. Cheers
  23. when i was in canada I loved waffles with maple syrup and whipped butter. on the nigel adkins front. he's quality, never says anything negative, always positive and uplifting. when eddie howe took over at bournemouth the changing rooms were plain white and bare. the first thing he did was put up players pictures and positive quotes on the walls. that same group of players were totally transformed, you may not like the waffle that comes out of his mouth but as long as he can find a way to make the players feel 10 feet tall i couldn't really care
  24. He's short but he's ****ing hard, he's better than Frank Lampard LEE BARNARD, BARNARD c'mon ffs he's innocent until proven guilty and after the way he has played this season he deserves all of our backing.
  25. patrick colleter, jim magilton, rasiak to name but a few
