I was pleasantly suprised to see a double page article on Saints in the Observer today. Was a good read too. Nice to see positive news about saints again!

Play offs are definitely out the question now, down to the fact we draw too many games recently and i think the loss of Hammond is a big factor!! Even without the points deduction we wouldn't be in the play offs. Maybe its a case of too many new players trying to gel or we simply aren't as good as we think we are. Nevertheless, if we can get as near to the play offs as we can, win the JPT and get to the quarters of the cup, surely that is a good season? If we don't make the play offs, we will get promoted next year!!

I was at the game last night and if Barnard would of scored early in the second half it would of been game over, easier to miss than score! I thought we started really well and put a lot of pressure on them, but as soon as James came off injured we lost the grip on the game and I thought they were the better side after that. We were lucky to get a draw with the penalty miss and numerous chances before that! We need to win these games, otherwise play offs aren't going to happen!!

Looking forward to going to the game tonight! If Pardew is going to rest Lambert, I would do it on Saturday against Stockport, much easier game IMO. Tonight will be tough, they are strong at home and the pitch will be rubbish, which will stop our passing game! Still think we will win, but won't be as easy as some people think!
