People who think Morgan isn't an important player is a short sighted football fan. Players don't always have to be eye catching to be a vital player in the team. Breaking up the play, keeping the ball and playing it simple is just an important. Lallana and Lambert do the rest. Premier league clubs have been sniffing around him for years, there must be a reason for that!

Im not normally one to moan, but I'm worried now. We look an average championship team now and our recent home form is rubbish. Our home form is the main reason we're up there. Burnley have a great away record, massive game Saturday.

Dire performance. Teams now know, that if they constantly press us, we will give the ball away and it stops our passing game. We need Chaplow, Lambert, Fonte and Lallana back ASAP, otherwise we will be slipping down the table with the fixtures we have coming up.

We've been in poor form for the past 6 weeks, how we are stop is amazing. lambert now suspended, we need to see how serious Cortese is about providing funds for new players to add quality not just quantity. We have some hard games coming up, without Lambert we will struggle.

Morgan was the best player on the picture today by a mile. Forte was absolutely ****, I've never rated him anyway. De Ridder gave the ball away far too much, maybe he is more of an impact player at the moment. I don't think Holmes is good enough. Ward-Prowse had a good game, very composed and kept the ball well. Definitely one for the future and plays the way Adkins likes.

Connelly only lasts 70 mins, so it has to be Lambert, purely as he will still be on the pitch. If he could last the full 90, I would still go for Rickie

This would be a great deal. He chips in with the goals too, Puncheon goes we get an experienced Championship player who won the league with QPR last season. No brainer

Antonio isn't good enough for us now. He was a good League 1 player, but average Championship player. If he was a decent Championship player he would be playing for Reading on a regular basis. Impact player at the most for the last 20 mins!

Just back from the game, N'Guesseun should never play football again, let alone for Saints. He is complete and utter rubbish. Should have won tonight, Charlton looked liked a team with no confidence and were poor. Having said that a point isn't the end of the world.

I was at Sutton today and it was clear we lack any spark or creativity in midfield without Lallana and Puncheon. We will need cover for those two, Holmes was very poor today and not up to it.

I would say that Wednesday are the strongest team in the league. Tudgay, Morrison, Mellor in attack, plus some shrewd signings from Irvine. I would say Peterborough will also be up there. I don't think it will be a walk in the park most Saints fans think. Having said that I still think we will be promoted automatically, with a couple more signings.
