I really rate Gazza but I don't think he's quite ready for Prem football. I'd stick with him and look to bring in an older, more experienced keeper in Jan for Gazza to learn from. Give it a year or two of learning and I think Gazza will be absolutely top draw.

Agree with the OP. This strategy of having our back four compress into the box and the wingers pull back to cover the channel just isn't working, we don't have the players for it, as Lallana's cock up leading to the first goal showed.

I don't rate Fox at all as a defender but he was OK today, the midfield was at fault for not offering enough protection.

Trying to stay positive but gotta admit this is quickly becoming my main concern.

I wouldn't say anybody is ENTITLED to a refund, but given the shocking performance and lack of effort last night, it would be a good gesture from the club.

Team was too weak with no strong options on the bench. By all accounts a pathetic performance considering a quarter final place is up for grabs. We're not playing again until Monday. Why even bother entering the competition?

What makes me laugh is that a lot of the 'fans' who boo Guly often wax lyrical about Steve De Ridder. IMO Guly is twice the player De Ridder is. Maybe if he did more aimless running then fans would like him more.
