I agree that Labour made a mess of things and consider myself fairly unbiased as i have voted for all three major parties before. I genuinely don't believe any of them offer a true choice, it's three variations of the same theme. Feel pretty apathetic about voting at the next general election.

See this is the problem, signing players in real life isn't the same as signing them on Football Manager, it's not a quick simple progress. Most deals are done at the back end of the transfer window as players want to hold out for the best option to become available. It's very unlikely for a team like Saints to clinch a top signing as soon as the window opens. Would you rather we had panicked and got in an average player asap or held out and gone after some more ambitious targets?

It's quite tragic that some people spend half their lives on here just trying to hijack every thread with tedious boring drivel. Makes half the threads absolutely unreadable and completely off-topic. Must be a very fulfilling hobby....

Thing is we're going for ambitious targets, we're competing against Champions League teams for these targets. The success rate is going to be low, but it only takes one. Failing that, we can then lower our ambitions a bit and sign a couple of good, competitive squad players. Enjoy the ride, no need to panic.
