If pompey go out of business then everyone who's already played them will have their points taken away. So we will lose 1 point, however west ham have played them twice and would lose 6 points.

The club's a business not a charity, they should only reduce ticket prices if it makes good business sense not because it's a 'nice' thing to do.

Players like guly and connolly will always look crap if no-ones linking up with them, midfield completely wet the bed last night for me.

Midfield didnt turn up last night, they were all over the shop, couldnt string two passes together. Connolly missed a sitter, but other than that, he's not the sort of striker that can create something from nothing, he needs lallana and lambert.

But what's the point of it, what does it achieve? Booing the team of the pitch will just further knock their confidence. Of course it was a **** performance, but do you really think you'd be telling the players anything they don't already know?!

Any manager and chairman would love to get their summer business concluded asap and get all of their first choice targets but it just doesn't work like that. The selling club dictates the terms and it makes sense for them to get as many offers in as they can and to push for the largest fee they can get. We'd be foolish to instantly go in with an offer millions above the players valuation, we're not man city FFS.

Our fans were awful past night. Half the lot around me seem to think we should be winning 4-0 every week and dont stop wingeing and booing from start to finish. I swear we're turning into Newcastle!

They'd both be perfect foil for Rickie, although i feel we could equally do with a player similar to Rickie to cover for injuries etc
