  1. I'll join tonight and will look out for you guys-will you have that flag and which pub are you going to be in?
  2. I'll be there (on account of living 5 minutes from the ground.) Best pub is The Mitre up in the High Road and the Red Lion right next to Underhill is ok.
  3. Am going to Barnet game, then again i do live 5 minutes walk from the ground the smug git i am!
  4. Don't miss the game just because you have to stand with home fans-we all have to keep quiet at times when we go under cover. Barnet Saint.
  5. My tuppence worth: 1)-The game will sell out no matter what time its played and whatever the cost of tickets. 2)-I base this partly on the fact that many of us will have neutrals wanting to go, let alone fellow Saints fans. 3)-They won't go into admin and sadly, some sucker will pop up and invest in them at the last minute. You just know its going to happen! 4)-Hope to god that with big cup games coming up we don't lose our way in the league-for starters MK Dons will be tough and that game ain't over. 5)-I for one am gonna keep quiet about our chances of beating the skates-lets leave the ****y bravado to them. 6)-Here's toa good performance tonite, hopefully a win and we stay injury free.
  6. Anyone know which of their 4 pubs on each corner of the ground we can use?
  7. Got my 4 yesterday-i would imagine we'll shift the rest today.
  8. The Don hillbilly you quote is a skate who regularly appears on the ugly site-calls himself hillbilly blue or something daft like that-but to be fair his contributions are tongue in cheeck!
  9. Surely in this day and age, can't they just make people press the red button thingy so you can choose your footie region? When i lived in Andover we had Reading-who basically had a zero fan base in the town as it was mainly Saints.
  10. Mine was Bristol Rovers at Eastville in about 1977. A group of us got a train from Andover, changed at Salisbury and mingled with a large tribe of Skates on their way to Wrexham. We joined the packed train from Southampton and my abiding memory is how hundreds of Saints fans simply disappeared as they dived into the nearest pubs as we arrived in Bristol. This left our young crew to stroll around the streets near Rovers ground and face the hostility of the Tote Enders. (it was a requirement to tie your silk scarves around your wrist back then so we stood out a mile) I think it was 0.0
  11. Must credit the O's fans-one of the few places we go to these days where the opposition actually sing and get behind their team.
  12. A nice little drive from Barnet to Leyton for me. Great memories of previous trips there.
  13. Good point St Jason. The stewarding at Southend was excellent. Very low profile and once in we were left to our own devices.ie Stand, sing and enjoy the game. Check out some of the you tube footage of the Itchen corner, eg against B.City-saints fans created an intimidating and fantastic atmosphere.(something many B.City fans commented on )-the team clearly responded to that too. There is no problem with the Itchen so why are the police/club trying to create a sterile little area where their actions and policy has taken the atmosphere away for no reason. And what is meant by "certain people"-there is netting andsections of empty seats separating us from the away fans so what's the big deal?
  14. West Brom in the 70s and 80s were very loud.
  15. I would relocate the away fans to the Kingslnad corner-i hate seeing away fans celebrating and showing off when games are televised!
  16. £30 for an adult and kid is good value. Cost us £40 at watford and boy you should see the differece in facilities. The "concourse" was about 5 feet wide and they did not sell beer.
  17. I don't know if this helps but on Football Manager 2009 all my strikers were injured or suspended, so I tried playing Paterson and Mclaggon. To my delight it worked a treat Paterson got a hat-trick and Mclaggon got 2 asists. Saints 4 Derby 0. If only it was real!
  18. Not a bad idea cos most of our debt comes from the stadium so if the council buy and we just rent it back from them on match days we can afford to keep our best players.
  19. Good old Super Kel! I was there and frankly Drew was **** poor during the whole game so when he stepped to take it, I knew he'd balloon it very high or wide. FFS Drew!
  20. Yes i heard that.It was laughable. Lowe's pr spin doesn't let up does it. The muppet was bleating on about the need to show our support. What do you think we've been doing all season and in very trying circumstances. I repeat my challenge, has anyone actually met a lowe luvie in person ? I would love a debate!
  21. We are a Charity to other clubs. Just take a look around the prem. and how many of our former players are doing the business elsewhere and bought in most cases, for below their true value. We have been a ****** poor run club for a good few years, seemily run for the benefit of other clubs and a handful of incompetent fools like lowe, cowen and askham.(all roads lead to those individuals and their tenure at our club) Makes my blood boil.
  22. Its all very well highlighting grounds to visit.eg Brighton, but remember they have tiny capacities so it will be a problem to get in!
  23. Nineteen canteen-your arguements are as pathetic as your name. Do us all a favour and disappear like lowe life.
  24. Effing shambles. Cannot defend set pieces. Div 1teams will know they only have to fling balls into our box and they will score. Pitifull.
  25. I think 1 out of 10 for watford fans is a tad generous! They should be docked 10 points for bringing the game into disrepute. I was embarrased for them.
