  1. Me too. Really gonna miss the sash-superb kit and unique in English footie.
  2. It seems our vocal support is poor whenever we venture north of birmingham-i was at Hudds and despite having around a 1,000 there we were poor. Just an observation and i think down to the composition of fans . (ie London area-more of a pi££ up and more "lads" in there 20s to 40s)
  3. What i found strange was that before and after the match, Saints fans seemed to take over the whole area outside-with no Orient fans in evidence anywhere-yet inside, they were more impressive than any of the 10 or so away grounds i've been to!
  4. Wouldnt it be good just for once that we came back and scored late goals. Been done to us enough times. Come on Saints, get 1 effing back NOW.
  5. Presumably we will end up with exactly the same as we had last year, ie the whole East Stand.
  6. I fear they would rather leave seats empty, segregation etc blah blah than sell to us. These clubs plead poverty yet all they have to do is shift their fans to one side and open a section for our over spill. Probably the police who dictate these matters.
  7. Yeah they're keen on re writing history, banging on about us having 9K against Ipswich in the prem, despite that being a game when the Brantfoot out campaign was in full swing.
  8. Latest Four Four Two has him picking our best all time Saints team. Remember, we also used to refer to them as scummers-a fact i know because my old man is from that vile town!
  9. We were poor the other night no doubt about it. Its getting tense as we near the closing stages and i'd settle for picking up points when we play poorly-look at Brighton at our place, woeful in the first half but they got the job done. Everything now hinges (IMO) on how the players who come in for AOC and AL play. Keep the faith. COYS
  10. Spot on-those burgers were different quality-I can taste them now. L Bridge is a great area, plenty of food and drink opportunities, nice women, shame it was all spoilt by the footie. We will bounce back. COYS
  11. Just got back-dire in the first 30 and they really looked up for it-we looked very dodgy in defence, but after we scored and they had a player sent off, we could have added a few more as the game went on. Functional, modern ground in the middle of no where-shame cos the town centre is very nice.Lots of history and nice pubs.
  12. The liquidator-Wolves.
  13. That would be a shame-a lot of our fans would moan but many more would welcome an improved atmosphere. I'm astounded at the Palace fans-they've always been pretty cack at creatingg an atmos-shows what can be done.
  14. Its an excellent idea-i'm up for it and would try and rope in a few more. I suggest getting a group together at the back of the Chapel. (I wonder if any existing STHs in the Northam would be allowed to swap their seats?)
  15. Sandwich-have to disagree about your first list. Skates were loud against us at their dump but are moaning about the lack of atmos these days-leeds are good in big games and the others you mention are average and no louder than us. I'm afraid most English club grounds these days are pretty quiet-compare them to the opposition in European games.
