Markus Liebherr Tributes / Walsall Game Tribute

Glory Glory Markus Leibherr would sound good -
Here's another interesting fact for you....10 of the last 12 Saints goals scored at SMS have been scored at the Chapel End. Only Lallana v Swindon and Barnard v Yeovil were not. Is that something to look into?
-
to echo what has been posted previously, looked very comfortable on the ball, and wanted the ball. I feel he did well seeing the situation he was thrown into. I again would start him instead of Chaplow on Tuesday. Also, he's quite tall (looked about 6"2, 6"3) which gives us an option in the air in midfield, something I feel we are weak at

How about Saints 3-2 MK Dons on 02/04/2011?
-
Maybe that's what Adkins meant by Jonno Quick!
-
Haven't seen a thread on this already, but he played for England under 16's against Scotland in the Victory Shield on Wednesday night, and looked very, very impressive. Played at left-back and seemed very confident going forward. Did anyone else see the game, or seen him play before? He looks a very good prospect!

I can confirm the rumor made up by the Palarse bloke is ********.... As for Holder-Spooner, he's a good player, yes, and very quick, but I think his temperament may let him down. I've seen him a few times, and he gets wound up very easily. I distinctly remember seeing him at Basingstoke in a pre-season friendly, he was fouled (nothing bad, but a as a winger, striker you'd expect to get 3 or 4 of those type of challenge a match) he instantly got up and wanted to fight the bloke, then spent the next 10 minutes tryign to kick lumps out of him....He eventually got subbed before he got sent off!

From what Dickov has said on the OAFC website, the deal could have some permanent link? ie, if we go up, we'll have the option to buy him in the summer? From what Dickov has said, it seems to me as if he's played his last game for Oldham... -
Jordan Sibley on twitter.... Nigel Adkins puts Howard rumours down to speculation: "often happens when managers are looking at moving on / bringing in players" #saintsfc Read into that what you will...

Swindon away the whole squad was shocking but nobody is berating them

Contracts - Who's are up at the end of the season?
supersonic replied to EBS1980's topic in The Saints
Holmes and Connolly are ones which in pretty certain about. I'm almost as certain that neither of them will be Saints players next season. Gobern? Mills? Forecast? Harding? Jaidi? -
what about White and Red stripes?
-
Grey as I'm colour-blind
-
Got the 3 points which is all that mattered. Never got out of second gear and they were shockingly bad. Carlisle are another **** team I can safely say I'll never be watching at SMS again unless in a cup tie.
-
He's the guy that used to write his name on the pitch with the ball?? Didn't he go to Israel at one point?
-
County arms in Winchester. Although the lectures start on Monday so might be full of returning students. Still will probably have the game on as the barman is a Saints fan

Hot Dog, Sausage Roll C'mon Saints score a goal!
-
Guly and Lallana?
-
Indeed they do, 15 games unbeaten now! I see James Ward-Prowse scored again, he's been tipped to be the next academy graduate to reach the first team. I believe he scored for the under 21's in the week
-
Definately we can play without Lallana, with the formation yesterday it helped, With Morgan sitting infront of the back 4 (He was my MOTM yesterday), Guly behind the front 2 and Chaplow/AO-C out wide it could easily work, even if Alex goes (which I don't think he will) we could even stick Guly up front and play Lallana in the hole

because we are the Saints, and accordign to our song, we go marching In, not On
