  1. I'd rather keep MO and give them N'Lundulu
  2. Would take him in a heartbeat. Chuck Mo in there for good measure, would suggest Shane Long as well but his family won't move that far
  3. He's also eligible for Algeria via his mother so it could be those. Lots of interest internationally given the year he's had. Not a problem on the info, the academy stuff sounds promising.
  4. Waiting to see if Brentford screw up the playoffs, hopefully 🤞
  5. Update on Olise and others. Had a really good chat with someone high up at Reading and a few snippets below: We remain interested along with a few other PL clubs. They have a bid on the table from one of the promoted clubs (my guess is Watford) but that's nowhere near money they are looking for. Contract offer on the table from RFC to make him one of highest earners (helps that Aluko's £50k a week contract is up!) But club not confident he'll sign and they've told him a decision needs to be made this summer (either sign new deal or leave). His parents and agent are very vocal about his potential and I get the impression the relationship between RFC/parents isn't the best. The club feel he changes his mind often and wouldn't be surprised if he spends about 2 seasons at clubs before moving on; he's set to switch international allegiance from France, but not to England. The feeling from within RFC is that, whilst we like him, others are hotter on him than we are. Interestingly we nearly signed him when he was 16, he got released from Chelsea but decided to stay closer to home with RFC. On another note, we seem to be "almost impossible" to beat when it comes to signing young talent around North Hants/Thames Valley region, especially with the younger players and we're being very aggressive with recruitment, which adds to their annoyance as we beat them to signing Chauke and pinched Diamond Edwards off them.
  6. If we are going to 4 at the back, I'd also give Ferry some game time there, not suggesting he'll be RB's replacement, but might be a decent back-up. Especially as he used to be a winger, he should be able to get forward and make crosses. Saw him a few years ago in the youth team against Basingstoke in the Hants Cup, he was one of the only ones to come away with any credit that day and looked to have a bit about him.
  7. Yes, absolutely. Diallo has been a decent signing but struggled recently and Armstrong better higher up the pitch. With nothing to risk, it makes sense to start him, but sadly it looks like Ralph has decided to move on.
  8. I always got the impression this is what would happen anyway. If you notice, before the fans forum, all communication from the club said they "expect Ings to be here next season", not that he'd sign a new deal.
  9. I'm speaking to them tomorrow so I'll update afterwards. Almost certain he's leaving RFC this summer, only has 1 year left on his contract and with their wagebill they need all the money they can get.
  10. His passing has been absymal since he got here. Numerous times in the Chelsea and Newcastle games he'd misplace 10 yard passes. It's no great loss to us if we ended the deal early and he went back to Liverpool as he doesn't improve us as a team
  11. Due to speak to a contact this week who'll give me an update, if any, on the Olise interest. I'll post of anything has developed but I know he's in high demand.
  12. Sensible post and line up, sadly Ralph refuses to use any more than 14 players so no chance Jankewitz or Ferry play.
  13. Would like to see Obafemi instead of Adams and Salisu in ahead of Bednarek
  14. Sadly, Tella has shared some racist messages he's received on Instagram after last night's game 😩
  15. He's got double figures twice, once in League 1. Looking at his stats, you can see what his normal is, and which one is the anomaly. He's an average striker who had a good (half) season before we bought him. Yet you think there's a chance he'll get 150% of his second best season in 4 months in the highest league. Forgive me whilst I laugh uncontrollably.
  16. Where do people get this nonsense about him being a 10-goal a season striker? With the amount of chances we create he SHOULD be at least a 10 goal a season striker, but he's only reached double figures twice: 14/15: 3 goals in 13 games 15/16: 12 goals in 41 games 16/17: 7 goals in 43 games 17/18: 9 goals in 33 games 18/19: 22 goals in 48 games 19/20: 5 goals in 36 games 20/21: 7 goals in 39 games. Seems we jumped on the hype train after his once prolific season, and it shows
  17. Wrong game
  18. Now our worst run of form in the PL era....
  19. 15 goals in last 92 matches. Only ever got double figures in a season once. The answer to this thread, and evidenced by tonight, is overwhelming "yes"
  20. Be careful, apparently pointing out the obvious means you have an agenda
  21. Adams really is crap, there is no other way to put it
  22. No idea why Diallo is playing further forwards than Armstrong. Another totally bizarre in-game decision from Ralph
  23. Diallo been utter shite since he came on. No wonder Jankewitz wants to leave when. He watches that shite every week knowing he'll never get on the pitch
  24. He's bulked up a bit, but that was a fairly impressive burst of pace from Obafemi 😳
  25. By that logic, it should be 2-0 as Adams' chance was far easier than Tella's
