Supporting the players in taking the knee

We don't have equality, which is why we need to balance that out and proportionately support those who need it accordingly to achieve equity. -

How do you get equality without excessive representation of the prejudiced group? -

And BLM is a community benefit society, not a political party. RBL have a manifesto regarding "key actions they believe the government should take" which makes them as much, if not more, of a political movement as BLM. But of course, some people can't (or more accurately, won't) see the similarities). Source: https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/things-to-do/campaigns-policy-and-research/manifestos -

No it isn't, the Poppy Appeal is a find raising event for the charity Royal British Legion. If people are going to link taking the knee to BLM, then by their own logic, wearing a Poppy is support for RBL... I'd also like you to search "James MacLean" into twitter in early November and tell me it isn't Political. -
Been injured for the last few months. I know he was set to sign for Reading and we came in at the 11th hour and pinched him, they were, and still are, gutted about it which is a good sign. Think he'll be a slow burner, but a decent prospect, reminds me a bit of Chambers in the sense of others having a higher reputation, but he'll have a better long-term career

It is solely an anti-racist gesture. -

The funny thing is, the group in the UK is known as "BLM UK". It actually stands for Black Liberation Movement so this whole myth of it having the same name and therefore people can't (or won't) differentiate between the two is actually nonsense and is, almost certainly, a cover for their underlying prejudices. -

Bet you'll be foaming at the mouth if we stopped putting Poppy's on our shirts in November -

Ah the standard "I'm against racism but please protest on my terms" argument. -

It's not difficult to differentiate the phrase "Black Lives Matter" and a political group with a similar name. For example, people know the difference between "Conservative" and "conservative" People also know the Labour Ward at a hospital is nothing to do with the Labour party. Its more a fact they don't want to differentiate, either through being naïve or ignorant... -

I disagree with racism, and particularly ignorance towards the issues that minorities face in this country. -

So what is it about the knee that they are so outraged by then? Or is it actually the statement Black Lives Matter? -

You tell that to the people who claim they aren't in support of it because of its socialist-Marxist links (which are so loose it's embarrassingly desperate) -

Are people still genuinely still using the socialist excuse for not supporting? -
So your advice is for us to sign more soft players?
-
Yep, it's the club strategy which continues to pick McCarthy in goal. It's club strategy which continues to pick Redmond, Bednarek and Diallo. And it was club strategy today which took off our only RB and one of our top performers and left us gaining just one shot on target in the 2nd half. Remember, it's club strategy and not the manager 🙄
-
Consistently tactically outclassed piss-poor team selections Piss-poor subs Piss-poor in-game management Constant selection problems (picking underperforming players and not playing others) There is zero sign on improvement. We've been outplayed in the majority of games, it really is the norm rather than the exception. Worst points return over 20 games than ANY manager since PL was formed. Yet some Muppets still fail to blame him and even go as far as saying "even Pep would struggle with this lot". Any manager who has a worse record than Wigley, Branfoot, Hughes and Pellegrino deserves the sack.
-
Statistically our worst run of results over 20 games since the PL began. No excuses, Ralph needs to go.
-
Yet more bemusing in-game decisions from Ralph. But we had a few injuries and suspensions in January so none of this is his fault....
-
Blame injuries, suspensions or poor players all you want, but the simple reason Ralph has to go is that, yet again, he has no idea how to try and get us back into this game
-
Get Ferry on for Redmond at HT, even if he's no good, at least it'll be nice watching someone other than Nathan struggle week after week
-
Genuinely wouldn't be upset if this happened
-
Shhh, the Ralphites will be onto you in a flash, he doesn't do anything wrong 🙄

God we are utter wank at the back....
