I'd rather Benali on there than Fonte. Take nothing away from JF, but this is a Saints forum and he didn't win the euro's with Saints.

I've not seen that much of him, but he doesn't seem that attack-minded. Relatively big lad (about the same size as Romeu) who likes to sit back and ping the ball around (bit like Classie). He's also half-French!

As mentioned before, being linked to Hojbjerg. Massively rated at 15/16 which lead to him getting a Danish cap (albeit political reasons). Would make sense with Puel. Development has stalled a little. About £12m quoted online.

We could do a lot worse than going in for Sissoko this summer.

As others have said, it's criminal for a professional striker, playing at the highest level of football to completely miss the target from 12 yards out. It's one thing having a penalty saved, but missing the goal completely is unforgivable - at least make the GK save it. He's clearly a striker that struggles when he has time to think about things, if it was instinct (e.g. goal v QPR) he's good.

Which part of it is clueless?

he's had an ok tournament. Two goals in the last minute of games against teams chasing a goal. Appalling penalty. He's a distinctly average player that brings very little to our team.

So our useless striker goes and ****s it up for Italy. The only thing I'm surprised at is that he didn't spend the next 10 minutes moaning at other people. The sooner he leaves, the better. Not being able to hit the target is criminal.

Aaron Tishbola is joining Norwich from Reading for around £2m. Will be a very, very good footballer. Was recommended to Arsenal but they only offered half the money and not too keen as just signed Xhaka. Would have been a great signing.

He has a worse injury record than Lee Holmes and Marian Pahars put together, I'd rather steer well clear.

Good strikers also don't go 10+ league games without scoring in consecutive seasons.
