Perhaps Sims going out on loan is a further indication that a forward player is coming in? Good move for him I think, isn't going to play regularly for us and allows him to get some decent playing time.
-
Antonio wasn't booed at all, in fact he was given a decent reception when he was subbed off
-
Get rid of Gardos, he's ****. Need to keep VVD, JS, MY and WH. Possibly loan out JB until January depending on how quickly VVD can put his toys back in his pram.
-
His wife is from Reading and his kids are settled at school down here. Both him and his wife are very family-orientated and would prefer (if possible) to stay in this part of the world. Eventually he'll play for Reading again, but he may have to wait a few more seasons before his value drops to a level they can afford.
-
The problem is he's going to have to take one hell of a pay rise to get back there. he turned down Stoke to join us because of his families fondness of the South of England
-
Whilst he (and his family) are very keen on a move back to Reading, I can't see how they can afford him. The price would surely be around £10m and his wages about £40k. Reading are now in their third season since relegation and have lost the parachute payments, I can't see them being able to afford to offer him that, or him taking a large enough pay cut to join them. Disagree with the above poster, I'd place Tadic, Redmond and Boufal ahead of him. Shane's quick, but then again he needs to be with his first touch, and simply doesn't score anywhere near enough goals.
-
Probably the latter, he wants PL football but his family are very against moving back up North
-
Apologies if posted elsewhere but just passing on what I've been told (about 7/10 days ago). ...Has agreed personal terms with Burnley, however he's also waiting to see if interest from Reading is legitimate as would like to discuss with them (family and emotional reasons). Unlikely to leave unless club have a replacement for him, however. Burnley move has been reported elsewhere, no idea on figures or update. Would be sad to see him go, but I think we need to move on.

Carabao Cup - Round 2 draw - Wolves at home
supersonic replied to Pamplemousse's topic in The Saints
What a ****ing shambles sky sports are making of this! Home tie, would have preferred an away trip but that'll do -
Constantly injured, has the turning circle of the moon and cannot kick a ball with both feet...
-
Already playing the victim, perfect for Merseyside. Shame he mugged the club off like that, good riddance.
-
He certainly is. I disputed something he tweeted me once and he sent me a load of abuse via private message. He's a complete waste of space like other ITK's
-
The most surprising part of this news is that he managed to figure out which end of the pen to use to sign his name....
-
It took Boufal about 10 minutes to even touch the ball.....
-
Who do you think JRod is that I was referring to?
-
Stephens is fully deserving of a starting position this season, it's who'll partner him that'll be the problem. He's very, very good and will only get better with games. Cedric and Bertrand looked good, as did Gabbi. We press slightly more than last year but still very little forward movement off the ball. We really do lack height and pace.
-
Shaw, Chambers, Lovren, JRod....
-
We finished 8 points above relegation last year and have got weaker as a squad. The board are playing a massive gamble that the problem last year was purely down to the manager...
-
They also sponsor Reading Fc
-
I'm not surprised, he's exceptional. Like Tadic but with pace, I watched him twice last year for Celtic (can't remember who against) and he ran them ragged, literally tore their leftback a new one. Best player on the park by a country mile. Is this a loan or permanent bid?

Young French forward is joining on a four year deal. Only 16 years old

Suing Liverpool for "turning VVD's head"
supersonic replied to Singapore Saint's topic in The Saints
What a silly thread. We can't sue them for it. What we can do is add an extra £10m to his transfer price though. We still have them by the balls. -
sell for £75m, buy another CB and Sigurdsson.
-
Wait, so how many ITK's do we have now? not doubting anyone but there are only 2 possible outcomes, he'll stay or he'll go, doesn't really take much to pick an outcome and try to justify it with "i know a source but i can't say who"
-
He must have something on the Koeman's. Never, ever a PL quality player
