  2. Number 7 was Abdul Abdulmalik (ex-Millwall). Was on trial at Pompey but they couldn't afford the compensation (😂)
  3. Simeu now added to the B team it seems
  4. Hmm strange one. Always thought he looked decent and would have a better opportunity, but what do we know?
  5. Cover a % of his wages? They're still over FFP and he's on £60k a week. They may have got some money in for Olise but his wages and those that have ready left aren't exactly making in-roads. I'd be shocked if they get him on loan, unless we pay 90% of his wages which, if we do, is madness
  6. Apart from the fact they're under a transfer embargo and his wages are astronomical, it's almost believable
  7. Long isn't going to Reading. They haven't got a pot to piss in
  8. It's not increasing, it's just getting exposed, which is only a good thing (unless you're a racist)
  9. Why? Anyone with half a brain cell can tell the difference between an organisation and a movement. The trouble is not that people can't, it's that people won't....
  10. Exactly this. It's started the conversation on race and that can only be a good thing. Too many people don't like BLM/taking the knee, but apparently everyone loved Kick It Out which, although it sounded good, was ineffective. It did nothing to actually stop discrimination and never challenged anyone, it allows people to be comfortable. The reason people don't like the current anti-racism campaign is because, for the first time in history there's a campaign that challenges behaviours and traits that people have grown comfortable with and have never previously been questioned and their conscience feels uncomfortable with that. They, of course, won't admit this, yet hide behind the "Marxist" argument, despite it being painfully obvious to everyone taking the knee is to promote equality and inclusion.
  11. They'll conveniently ignore it, just like the mountain of evidence that is online in regards to the racial abuse of footballers and systematic racism
  12. Just Google it yourself, or were you scared you'd find something that disproves your abuse of anti-racism movements?
  13. #PartOfTheProblem
  14. Funny how some people apparently can't find any trace of abuse. Also totally coincidentally they don't think the UK has a race problem and hate taking the knee. Funny that
  15. It's the latter then, thanks for clarifying.
  16. Showing solidarity with those whom have been abused. What's your point or are you just being a twat like normal?
  17. I actually said they ARE real football fans, if you cared to actually read what I said. Too many people wanting to brush the responsibility onto other people, it's all of our responsibility to call out discrimination of all sorts and educate each other on the best ways forward. Here's the scary part: 50 year old youth football coach. These people are VERY REAL football people... https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/police-arrest-50-year-old-man-over-racist-marcus-rashford-tweet/
  18. Pictures and evidence is all over the internet which took me about 20 seconds to find examples of.
  19. And here we have the age old problem in this country: people are more offended by the mere allegation of racism than they are the existence of racism itself. Too many people sit there and go "they aren't real football fans", in a way of distancing themselves from the problem and trying to avoid it. But the reality is, these are real football fans, they are very real. One has ready been identified as a Leyton Orient STH, some others who have been prosecuted for previous racist abuse have all been STH's. Regardless of how big, or little, the problem is, it's there and doesn't seem to be going away and the sooner people and institutions square up to it, the better instead of treating it like the elephant in the room.
  20. You don't think people calling out racist behaviour is helping? I'm sorry, but that's total, and utter, garbage. We're also nowhere near the point of achieving all it can, the momentum is clearly going in the right direction. With respect, you've clearly never had to deal with the impacts of racism, and it shows.
  21. We've achieved far more in the past 18 months than we have done at any previous time, it's working. The amount of people now calling out Racist behaviour is increasing, it won't stop instantly. Your suggestion, whilst I understand the logic you are trying to use, is unhelpful. Racism is far deeper than the obvious stuff we see on Instagram, a vast majority of it is potentially subconscious, if people aren't educated as to what is right/wrong, how are they going to learn?
  22. What a load of nonsense.
  23. Another game we had the potential to win and froze. Sat back too deep, too early (a la Croatia semi final) and let the class of the opposition grow into the game whilst losing momentum. Not a fan of bringing on players just to take penalties, it simply just adds to the pressure of the moment. You can't expect "cold" players to take a penalty in a major final. And then we have the abuse, the unrelenting, disgusting abuse that sadly is unsurprising. But yet we still have people within society who think society and football doesn't have problems with inclusion and equality.
  24. Looks a bit too much like Cedric for me to get excited about
  25. I get your points, definitely in a 50/50 game what happened to Eriksson may give them enough to get through, but drive and determination can only really get you so far.
