No goal in 7 games is pants at any level. It's not even as if he's creating chances and is unlucky, he's not contributing anything to the team.

Having just watched the highlights on the football league show, I can safely say that was hideous! No guts, no passion, No imagination. We deserved nothing and got it. Davis 3- That first goal was pathetic, I didn't realise the guy was 25 yards out when he hit it! A mistake was always on the cards Dickson 6- Our best player and still was only average! Jaidi 5- Tries hard, but past it. lost too many headers to smaller players and still can't kick a football Seabourne 2- That was possibly one of the worst performances I've seen in a Saints shirt. How he started ahead of Martin I'll never know Butterfield 5- Tried hard, but sadly is too slow and predictable. Chamberlain 5- Quiet game, did well, and was unlucky a few occasions, but game seemed to pass him by Lallana 5- Tries to do to much with the ball sometimes. His skill and first touch however, are out of this league Lambert 3- Is this seriously the same bloke that scored 31 league goals last season??? Guly 4- Non-existant in the second half, seemed to be playing right-wing. Connolly - Didn't have time to make an impact please note, The reason why I have missed out Schneiderlin and Hammond is because we hand no midfield today!

I've seen him play several times for the under 18s and yes he was on the bench on saturday, and went to train with doble and reeves etc at half time. I've only ever seen him play centre-midfield for the under 18s and he looks extremely promising and talented. His ability to pass the ball at his age is exceptional. Against Thurrock he was hitting 30/40 yard passes at ease without looking. He has a good engine on him and can win the ball back as well as use it. Also, for someone playing 2 years above his age-group, he held his own in the strength department. wouldn't be at all suprised if he makes a first team appearence before the end of the season. Also, on the subject of talented youngster, Jake Sinclair turned 16 earlier this week so can also play for the first team now

i've seen both Harlee Dean and JW-P play and let me tell you, young James Ward-Prowse is better at 15/16 than Harlee Dean looks capable of. I saw him play twice in pre-season and I still can't understand why we signed him

If I were NA I'd pick: Bialkowski Reeves Seabourne (If fit) Martin Butterfield Dickson Hammond Gobern Holmes Lambert Doble I have a funny feeling we may see James Ward-Prowse and/or Jake Sinclair on the bench, don't know why I think that, but I think we might.

Talking of the match, we were unlucky. We've certainly played alot worse and won. nothing seemed to be going our way and the ball just didn't want to drop into the right places. Hammond was quality, and was everywhere. Davis too exceptional. Jaidi looked knackered after an hour and Lambert needs to be dropped asap. He didn't contribute anythign last night, and hasn't for a couple of games now. He needs to pull his socks up and pretty quickly! Also, why was Barnard taken off and not Lambert? (This isn't a Lambert bashing post) but as soon as LB was replaced, the whole shape of the team went out the window.

I really don't see why everyone started getting o nthe brighton keeper's back, he was a damned sight quicker at taking goal kicks than some keepers i've seen at SMS this season, especially Orient and Plymouths!!
