  1. We NEED to make sure we sing for 90 minutes non-stop and back the Saints! BUT!!! If we sing "who the feck are man united" WE NEED TO GET THE WORDS RIGHT!! the last line is "And the Saints go marching IN, IN, IN!" It's "IN" not "ON" RANT over, thank you
  2. Is this the same Sky that reported Keegan was "on the brink" of becoming Saints manager last summer, and that Ward from Coventry had signed, and AO-C has been "poised" to sign for Arsenal for the past 3weeks!
  3. Was just wandering if anyone had any Match-day Superstitions, and if so, what are they? these can we as weird and wonderful as you like. Also, feel free to add any which you know other people do. Mine is that (apart from Jeans) I never wear anything blue and I never shave on the day of a match (don't ask!) Discuss....
  4. Lol don't worry, I'm just winding you up. Arsenal were founded in Woolwich which makes a good quiz question as to who are their historical local rivals? Charlton Athletic
  5. Sorry to be pedantic but Woolwich is 8.8 miles away from The Emirates Stadium and, also, on the wrong side of the River. Unless you know something we don't, dropping him off in Woolwich would mean he is signing for Charlton??
  6. Hi all, I saw at the end if the notts county game that someone was selling scarves half-and-half saints/man utd does anyone know where I could pick one of these up over the weekend please? Are they an official club product? Mods sorry if this is in the wrong thread!
  7. OWTSGMI sung slowly and loudly...remember, it's 2 verses of OWTS first before it speeds up!!!
  8. Live round the corner, You only live round the corner!
  9. Hi all I am a STH and drive down to all the home games and usually end up parking somewhere near the jury's inn hotel and walking to the ground. However on the last few games I have noticed that The Avenue has been getting even more busy and getting out onto the M3 takes longer I was wondering if anyone else used the clubs Park & Ride scheme, and if so, how good is it? and where is it as the directions on the OS are a bit vague. Also, what number buses go past the ground on Northam Road (stopping just outside the King Alfred pub)? Thanks In advance
  10. Have you not heard the reports of him saying he'd never re-join Reading??
  11. are we even sure it's the ex-Pompey player and not someone with the name N'Lundula??
  12. This is getting ridiculous now, I've got 3 phones on the go, and have been calling non-stop for over 2 hours, still not got through!!!!
  13. Tell them to turn on the phones!!
  14. It will be the first time in 30 years we've done it, the record is 7 (from 80/81 season) which if we win on sat, we can equal at Tranmere well, that's what it says here http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8788371.Saints_aiming_for_six_more_of_the_best/
  15. Season Ticket holders can purchase their own seat until tuesday. They may also purchase 1 additional seat from tuesday, but they also have to buy a ticket for carlisle
  16. So what? We're winning and above them, and are better than them!
  17. Haha brilliant, I've just driven to my gf's. Just before I left I refreshed the page and AO-C scored, as soon as I get here, I click on the match thread and Lallana has made it 2-0. I think I might just spend the evening driving to and from now lol
  18. They will next season when they are in the championship and have home fixtures against Cardiff and Swansea
  19. for me, it's between this goal and the swedish guys goal, that was something special!!
  20. I think someone needs to remind/inform them that we made 8 changes and had (possibly) our second choice back 5 out yesterday!
  21. Echoing what was previously said on this board, this is the single most important signing saints could have made during this january transfer window! Adam lallana, makes messi look ****e!
  22. I heard that Kaka at Real Madrid is pretty useful with a football, also what about fat Ronaldo? They both speak English and the latter would be enticed by west quays Harry ramsdens and nandos!
  23. Dickson for me. I like DH but I feel he makes too many silly little mistakes and Dickson offers more to the team, especially going forward. He's probably the most attack-offering fullbakc we've had since Bale left. Like I said, I was a big fan of DH, especially last season, but to me he seems to have little moments where he switches off during matches and has been at fault for a few goals conceded in his time here. Plymouth at home on opening day of season springs to mind!
  24. His family are from Hungerford, near Newbury. Which would make Saints nearer than both Birmingham and QPR
