The most worrying part for me is the fact we haven't scored a goal in the last 25 minutes of a match for 19 (yes, NINETEEN) games since Redmond's 83rd minute strike v Sheff Utd back in December. (Next lowest in the league is 3 by Sheff Utd) In the same spell we've conceded 12 goals in last 25 mins. We're in an awful rot of losing all momentum going into the end of a game and the manager doesn't seem to know how to change that. (Apart from Burnley), our plan seems to be to get ahead and then cling on, which we clearly can't do either. Once safety is mathematically secured, time for Ralph to walk away and give everyone a fresh start

Not sure how fans are supposed to raise 50% to buy shares from a club, even at a reduced rate? I also cannot see owners giving away that high a portion of shares to fans. The German model is great, but they've always had it, so the club has grown with the 50+1%, not sure how realistic it'll be to implement in our game now

What is this Plan B you talk about? If you could let Ralph know there is such thing that'll be great, thanks

Defending free kicks with a player lying down behind the wall

We concede more goals direct from free kicks that way than we do under the wall, so it's 6 and 2 3's... -

Don't understand it, in all my time watching football I can only remember a handful of goals scored under the wall. You'd be better off sticking someone on the post away from the goalkeeper. -
Diallo been utter wank for weeks. Not sure what Jankewitz, or any other CM, has to do to get a game
-
Another decent first half followed up by an utterly pathetic second half performance. More points dropped from a winning position. Same story week after week, same players under performing and getting played every week, same manager refusing to change it week after week. Seriously, the sooner Ralph buggers off, the better.
-
Armstrong in CM ahead of 2 recognised CM's. Subs: Redmond for Tella ~ 70 mins Diallo for Walcott ~ 85 mins Either Djenepo for Salisu or N'Lundulu for Adams ~ 92 mins Bake to score anytime. 3-0 home win

I wonder what side Spurs will put out? Obviously Mason's first game and he'll want to do well, but they have a cup final on Sunday that must be their priority. Will they risk Kane/Son getting clattered by Bednarek and being out the final?
-
Likewise, But Ralph will stick to his same old formations and players that clearly aren't working then he'll stand there at the end and use some feeble excuse. Can predict it now: Forster KWP, Bednarek, Vestergaard, Bertrand, Armstrong, JWP, Diallo, NR/TM/MD Ings, Adams/Walcott. Sub 1 (~70mins) Walcott/Adams Sub 2 (~85mins) NR/MD for whichever one didn't start Sub 3 (~94mins) Salisu or NR/MD for someone

Time to revisit the owners and their "fit and proper" status....

Well, at present the clubs and players insurances only cover them for FIFA sanctioned matches so they wouldn't be insured. They'd find insurance, but the FA/UEFA/FIFA would make everything difficult for teams and players to go. You'd almost end up with two different footballing bodies and the sport may end up like boxing The FA/PL seem shit scared of losing money over it though
-
Yeah thats understandable, if FIFA/UEFA don't sanction in then it'll be a non-starter really.
-
Unless I've mis-read this, it's an additional competiton rather than the Champions League as opposed to an alternative to the PL? Could very well have misinterpreted though

I feel sorry for him, yes he had a shocker on his debut but he must be itching to set the record straight and Ralph is now actively not playing him, in which case why even bother naming him on the bench? He looked decent for Switzerland when he played (especially against England). Like others have said, if he does want to leave, if he plays well it ups the price. If he is shit and wants to leave then nobody will mind. Ralph does have a habit of only using about 14 players and he isn't one of them.

Most managers who get the sack continue to get their weekly wage for a set period of time (usually forgoing last year if contract if multiple years left), or otherwise until that manager finds themselves another job. Its usually part of the reason why ma agers don't jump back into football right away. So, in theory, we wouldn't have to pay Ralph's entire contract up, we'd probably agree to pay him his wage for next 2 year's and hope he gets employed by someone else. The problem is, he is likely to be on a good wage, and so is a manager who can help us out. I remember at one point a few seasons ago Reading had 4 managers on the payroll....

Managers get it wrong from time to time, I can accept that, but Ralph gets it wrong more often than not. Even more worrying is the fact that he simply refuses to change anything when he does get it wrong. Bertrand, KWP, Bednarek, Vestergaard, Diallo, JWP, Ings, Armstrong and Walcott will all start when fit and they know it. Not saying all are bad, but there is zero competition for their places. Apart from Djenepo, Adams and Redmond, Ralph doesn't let anyone else have a game, and it's showing. I feel for Salisu and Tella who have looked ok when given a chance, even Jankewitz to be fair. 11 defeats in 14 games, likely to get beat on Sunday. Time for a fresh start in the summer
-
Bednarek useless (again), Walcott and Diallo non-existent. Being outplayed by a Sam Allardyce team, and yet zero sign of Ralph having a plan B. He's been utter dog-shite for a good few months now.
-
Struggling to think of many worse periods of football...
-
Time to give a few of the youngsters a game. Jankewitz and Ferry would be good to see. Very decent performance so far, Redmond been excellent.
-
Ralph Kreuger's Buffalo Sabres are currently on an 11-game losing streak, they've failed to score in as many games they have won (which is astounding for an Ice Hockey team). Their squad is full of over-paid, under-performing players that they can't dispose of as nobody will take on the contracts they gave them so are stuck in a ruck. Sound familiar?
-
I think there are some interested parties that are currently circling waiting to see how things go on the pitch. If/When (and the 'if' is growing bigger and bigger) we secure PL football for next year, I get the impression things will start to move, and move quite quickly. Nobody will buy a PL club that could very well get relegated and with little they can do to influence this.

Awful run of results and performances. Forget games against an already relegated Sheff Utd or reserve sides in the cup, the performances have been utter garbage and I am struggling to believe Ralph can change it. Most worrying, for me, is our second half form, we are just totally, totally ineffective in the second half of games. Teams know if they can keep us out for the first hour, we are done, and all they have to do is stay fairly solid and we're toast, today's game was a very accurate reflection on how ineffective we've become; we just don't look like getting back into any game. Since we beat Newcastle and went top, we've played 21 league games. In the second half of those games alone, we've only scored 7 goals and conceded 21. We've lost 10 of those 21 second halves and dropped 11 points (compared to just 3 points gained). We've also only scored 3 goals later than the 60 minute mark in those 21 games (Ings v Brighton; Adams & Redmond v Sheff Utd), meaning we haven't scored later than the 55th minutes for 17 (yes, SEVENTEEN!) games. Notable second half failings in this time include: - Man Utd (H) - utter capitulation from 2-0 up to a 3-2 defeat - Arsenal (A) - played against 10 men for 27 minutes, mustered a woeful 1 shot on target - Man Utd (A) - less said about that the better - Newcastle (A) - although we won the second half 1-0, we played 40 mins against 10 men and 12 minutes against 9 - Wolves (H) - utter capitulation again going from a comfortable 1-0 lead to a 2-1 defeat, no sign of getting back in game once behind - Leeds (A) - another crumbling, conceding 3 unanswered goals and not looking like scoring - Everton (A) - Only shot on target was in 89th minute - Brighton (H) - lost second half 1-0, ZERO shots at goal after the 60th minute. Very, very worrying trend indeed. Not sure we get anything from Burnley or Palace games coming up.
-
2-1 down in a can't lose game and we're just watching them pass it round the back four....
-
We haven't scored later than the 55th minute for 17 league games now. We don't look like that changing today. Truly awful performance so far
