  1. how can you say that?? we were beaten by a team 37 places above us. I'm sure everyone here didn't wanted to lose to them, especially Pardew. We dominated at times but didn't take our chances, end of.
  2. The difference was composure in the penalty area, lallana snatched at a couple of chances he had, but Papa Waigo i wish that header in the 1st half had fallen to any other person in the ground. Also even though the majority of his passes were miss placed o'hara seemed to always be the 1st to it, we could of done with some one following him round not giving him the space. Truely gutted to lose to skate bastards but we will have the last laugh!!! COYR
  3. i hope your right and charlton don't go up, we can make a move for shelvey and persuade him to come here!
  4. thats a depressing thought if we lose those 3, 23 goals short and 2 of our best 3 midfielders...great!!!
  5. there will definately be some movement, AP was chasing a couple of CM's in january and i wouldn't be surprised if he continued to try and sign them in the off season because i believe we are definately 1 CM short, as for players leaving i could see a couple of fringe players leaving but nothing major.
  6. haha went to the game but got it sky+ it as well in hope that sky showed my mate being rejected for a high 5 by thomas!!
  7. to be fair there won't be the 10 point deduction and the team will have a year of playing together. however they have played for 6 months and should be able to beat the likes of exeter...but thats football!!
  8. they think their bigger and better then they actually are thats was ****es me off. their chairman is a w****r as well
  9. terrible fans, was disgraceful on their part that we almost outnumbered them in the 1st leg. in their match programme i think their highest attendence was 18,500 and thats because leeds took just under 9,000!!!
  10. has to be playoffs and promotion getting out of this league with -10 and the start we had would be big acheivement. if the footballing gods won't allow that!!, then I want to see us at least win some silverware even if it is the JPT
  11. especially on sky it would **** them off even more, if that wouldn't make the back pages of the newspapers i don't know what would!!
  12. haha i agree with you, we were singing it at MKD's my girlfriends dad was watching it on tv and he thought we were singing pompey song at first. is a great chant though properly wind them up!!
  13. I don't see the problem with the away fans where they are at the moment. We enjoy the banter between the home and away fans and it would be a shame to lose that by shoving them up the other end. I expect the away fans enjoy coming to St Mary's because of how they are surrounded by home fans. just my opinion though.
  14. haha that is fantastic if only everyone would sing it!
  15. puncheon would be awesome signing, he's an out and out winger, his crossing will be better than lallana, waigo and james!!
  16. have the tickets gone on sale yet?? spoke to a mate yesterday and he told me that MK Dons were delaying the release of the away allocation. Also when you travel up there don't ask for any help to find the ground because they still direct you to the hockey stadium!!!!
  17. funnily enough....no!!
  18. I believe something needs to be done about clubs and they're spendings. I was watching Sky Sports News and was nice to see Burnley chairman come out and say that "this was a family run club and they are not going to jepordise their financial health by spending £20-30 million" I believe that The FA has to do something because so many clubs have had major money problems and if that club doesn't have a multi-billionaire owner then they are having to sell and fall leagues. A lot of the time this results in less fans attending games and recieving less money from gate reciepts means even less income for the club. I don't mean the FA giving money to clubs when they are in trouble but something like salary caps could help. I agree with the person above saying it would be nice to see a massive club like Man Utd endure major money troubles like ourselves but it would have a massive blow to english football.
  19. my mates told me today that the one of the two bids Pards has made is for Barnard and the other for Ward
  20. stupid question probably but what does CHDAJFU mean??
  21. that video make the fog look not as bad as it was!!! lol
  22. This game yet again shows we need a quality winger, lallana does a job on one side but I reckon he would play better in a more central attacking midfield role. Neither Antonio or Waigo were threatening enough, I remember Antonio getting into a good position in the 1st half only to blaze the ball 15-20 foot above attackers heads and out for a throw in. As for Waigo he didn't really create anything, when the substitution was made I said to my mate that Waigo could impact this game with his pace against tired legs but yet again I have been proven wrong. I did get exited to see him score only to be brought back down to earth by the offside flag. Our defence did cope well over certain periods and their goals did come from good passing. I though the referee had an average game but took too long to make decisions whether he was going to book players, etc and the game seemed to lack any pace to it. But the ball boys were possibly the worst I've ever seen. I used to live in harrogate and saw harrogate town play in the blue square north division and they had more balls readily avaliable when the ball was out of play. I think this is the 1st proffesional game in history that used one ball throughout the entire match!!! I have confidence that we can bounce back and put in a better perfornance in weeks to come. COYR's!!
  23. I rate Antonio a lot higher than Papa Waigo, vital attributes of a winger is crossing and I've rarely seen him put a good ball. Papa Waigo needs to be sent back to Italy sharpish, how he has played international football is beyond me.
  24. I work at waitrose in chandler's ford and saw paul wotton, he's doing ever so well with his wife!!
  25. I think a quality winger would be good and send Papa Waigo back to Fiorentina, i agree we need a decent cb as well and possibly a rb so James doesnt have to play out of position. Murty doesn't look like the body is gonna allow him to play a decent run of games!! I don't think we will get Beckford he'll demand far too high a wage and his attitude is dreadful
