Right, so your argument is that Britain having nuclear weapons hasn't deterred Putin from invading Ukraine, who doesn't have nuclear weapons? The point is he hasn't attacked us (or any other nuclear armed country). We are not going to nuke Russia for invading Ukraine ffs. He is invading sovereign territories that don't have nukes, not ones that do. It is exactly because Russia does have nukes that we are afraid of getting more directly involved in Ukraine. And of course having nukes doesn't prevent terrorism. Who should we have nuked after the 7/7 attacks?

Hasn't stopped Putin from what exactly? Last time I checked he hadn't invaded us or any other nuclear power/NATO, whereas he has attacked non-nuclear armed Ukraine. Seems the deterrent is working pretty well? If Ukraine still possessed nukes I doubt we'd be seeing the ongoing war now. It's also the reason why we/NATO refuse to get directly involved in Ukraine, so seems the deterrent is working pretty well for Russia too?

Like others I've had Freed from Desire stuck in my head for 2 days and I love it. Will forever associate it with Sunday! I think the celebrations at the end with that playing, along with Armstrong tearing his shirt off (twice lol) and sprinting towards the Saints end at the final whistle are the two iconic moments I will forever remember. Plus the goal obviously.

Queued for about 45 minutes just to get in, got absolutely drenched but it was worth it. Think Flynn would love to stay but obviously has to watch what he says... Arma was brilliant 🤣 The players have clearly been enjoying themselves since last night and good for them, they deserve to let their hair down after the effort they've put in this season!

I've been very critical of him in the past and tbh was really annoyed when Jones bought him back from Villa early. But he has completely turned my opinion of him around and been one of our key players this season. Maybe partly due to the drop in division but he has looked so much calmer and more assured than before and hardly put a foot wrong. I think I would be fine with him and THB as our starting CBs next season, they've formed an excellent partnership.

What a day, so proud of the players, manager and fans! For all Leeds' attacking talent I never really felt like they were going to score. Full credit to Russ for making us more solid and pragmatic in recent games but especially today. Think we totally deserved the win. Delighted THB is now a Saints, hope we can also keep Flynn who was immense again. Thought both sets of fans were really loud and it was a great atmosphere. I am done in now. Time to relax and enjoy the summer speculation!

Ridiculous over reaction. Mara has been poor recently but has also had some very good appearances off the bench this season and scored a few goal. Needs to do it from the start now though. I think playing as a two up top with Arma will suit them both better. Unfortunately with Che out and Stewart not fit to start, we have no-one suitable for the lone striker role. COYR!

£30 seems like a pretty normal price to me for a playoff semi final. Some people just like to moan for the sake of it.

We'll see but considering they've been on sale less than a week and also the staggered sales block by block it didn't look bad to me. I had to go for block 44 as I need another couple of tickets when general sale comes. You want some matchday tickets available there too. I would be surprised if it's not full most weeks.

When I went to buy mine earlier there were very few spaces left available in blocks 40-43, so looks like it's already proving very popular.

This is true, and in fact the Brighton fans are already turning on De Zerbi. Unless you're one of the rich elite clubs then you'll always have to accept that any relative success will likely be short lived and there will be plenty of hard times too. Just take the rough with the smooth (even the 'rough' this season has been highly enjoyable imo). I also don't think we'll be as bad as some think in the Championship next season. Even with the departures we should have a core of decent Championship standard players, hopefully we can make some shrewd additions. Plus the teams coming down from the PL will be a lot weaker this time, I don't see any obvious candidate running away with it next season.
