Lampitt is playing a dangerous game. When he was appointed there were many on here who were naturally suspicious that he was an "FA Plant" given that he was Head of Integrity at the FA. I suspect the reason for takiing the position was that the FA were, perhaps, pleased to see him go as he may not have had all the attributes for such a position. Given the fact that his new employer had previously deprived the public purse of up to £37 million and several ex employees (alegedly) have comitted crimes of fraud and were supposedly closely monitored by the Football League, he has a fudiciary responsibility to ensure that taxes are paid. If, as, he has now admitted, he knowingly, allowed the company to trade whilst insolvent then he should have resigned to protect his own INTEGRITY. Clearly he has none. He is just as much a cheat as his predecessors but then this bunch of criminals masquerading under the bannner of Sport would know no better. They are morally bankrupt like their club. I really do want them to die so their remaining decent fans can create a phoenix club. However, equally disgusting is the total ineptidude of the Football League to do nothing as they were supposed to have thoroughly investigated the accounts to ensure that CSI and their ADMINISTRATION are not linked financially. That forensic examination MUST have revealed that the VAT has not been paid. In my view they are just as culpable. Clearly they are breathing the same poluted air that eminates from Portsea Island and have become intoxicated by inertia

I think this guy has got it spot on from the "News" bluelagoon Friday, January 20, 2012 at 09:36 AM Our Pompey was wounded by former owners, but supporters didn't want to believe how badly - we thought it could possibly be saved by a new and decent owner. In fact it was probably wounded too deeply, like a ship on which they are still singing and dancing, but which is massively holed beneath the waterline. It has taken a few years fro the full extent of the damage to become evident. What we are now seeing is a plan to re-organize the deck-chairs by a would-be new master who is haggling with Portpin over their price.

Will Pompey still be around by then anyway?

I do not think AA has indicated that the takeover is subject to Due Diligence or that Heads of Terms have been signed or that any deposit for Exclusivity has been received which is why this is all one massive smoke screen to buy time to avoid points deduction. If what he said is true that new owners will be announced in 48 hours (now 24) I will be amazed
-
I really do think that AA is a load of b*****s. I cannot believe ANYONE could have done their due diligence and at Xmas time unless it was someone who already knows the **** they are in or someone who is inept and i am speaking as a M&A specialist

Disastrous. Only word for it. Not just the loss but the way we capitulated against what in effect was a reserve side. We got hammered down the flanks yet persisted with playing Llanana and Conelly in the hole so that the full backs were exposed.
-
Excellent assessment. We need someone with pace to receive the advantages given us by De Ridder
-
But I thought Pompey fans were so loud and passionate how come they even heard one of our chants ?
-
So todays result will be immaterial as in all probability they will not make it to the end of the season and therefore their results expunged.

Twice 1963 when we won 3-0 Paine, Chivers, Sydenham and following year ON MY BIRTHDAY 5th Feb when we thrashed them 5-2 with Norman Dean hatrick and Chivers two. What a birthday present that was !!!

Have you never used an incubator? If the soil is warmed this generates heat to enable seeds to propogate.Once seeds sprout then of course photosynethesis will kick in

Not going next week but vividly remember the only two games that I have seen at Fratton. September 1963 we won 3-0 with Chivers Paine and Sydneham. The following year was promotion year and in February we walloped them 5-2 with a Norman Dean Hatrick and goals from Chivers and Melia. In those days you could walk around the ground to get behind the goals.Even in those days fights broke out and there was absolutely no attempt at segregation. What a contrast to next Sunday eh !!!!

It looks loke one of the members of "Bad Company" wants to rescue the blue few. You can imagine the headlines... After years of dubious owners mafia, drug dealers, gun runners, convicted fraudsters and tax dodgers....Pompey have now found their ideal buyer..........A BAD COMPANY

Most Premier clubs have undersoil heating which makes the grass grow in Winter(if switched on) so do not need lights. We do not have undersoil heating

No Mental illness is far worse. It is when you are deluded. It is when you have very few when you think there are many. It is when you are paranoid and envious of your neighbours. It is when you think that each owner is a saviour when they are unsavoury. It is when you continue to hope that things will get better but only get worse. It is when you win something that has been paid for by money you did not have. It is when you are blind to justice but scream you are idignantly right. We are not green with envy. We are are superior in team ,support, infrastucture and current league status. I am your humble superior

I love the quote by General Wolfe about the citizens of Portsmouth Meanwhile, be warned. General Wolfe wrote to his mother in 1758, ‘The necessity of living in the midst of the diabolical citizens of Portsmouth is a real and unavoidable calamity. It is a doubt to me if there is such another collection of demons upon the whole earth.” Nothing has changed much since then.
