MK Dons please!

Interesting decision to award man of the match to an MK Dons player. They didn't seem to have enough of the play to warrant that! Had anyone noticed the player before he got it? Maybe they actually meant their man of the match?

I too am very shocked. I was at Wembley when we won the FA Cup so I have been supporting Saints for a very long time. Nigel has done a fantastic job. We have seen Saints come back from the very brink and he has been a very big part of that. We have had some fantastic times in the past couple of years = thankyou Nigel. I always liked the way that he would not complain at the ref on the TV like many of the other managers do. We have been very lucky to have him at our club - a superb ambassador for football who has been treated very badly. I am not sure how I am going to feel in the future - but I currently do not feel in the slightest bit happy about my team. Nigel may have had some tactical issues - but he has grown with the team and deserved his chance in the Premier League. Good luck to our new manager - but what a shame we haven't still got the old one.

Great atmosphere with fantastic singing from all of the Saints fans. Hardly heard the Posh fans at all. What a fantastic result. As was said above Guly got a great reception both at the end of the warm up and when he came on - a couple of decent touches too! I thought Cork was terrific tonight. COYR - and roll on Middlesborough.

I still have not got my points from the FA Cup game at Coventry when the system was down and I sent my prediction via the 'contact us' route. I love the prediction league and love it when I am high up the table. The missing 6 points would make a great difference to my position so please may I have them Steve?

the same as my problem last week when I sent my prediction of 3-1 to the saints via the contact us form and have still not been allocated the points!

Just after 26 minutes - not much coverage (as usual) though!

Still got my ticket and programme. After we won My Dad made my hide my scarf in my pocket in case there was trouble with any of the unhappy United fans. What a moment when Bobby Stokes scored - we had some other pretty good chances too! Best story - was Sammy McIlroy (I think) from Manchester United made the comment at the end 'see you next year' Man U went on to win the cup in 1977! I am always positive about the Saints. Even though Wednesday night was pretty depressing things will turn around and hopefully we will still get into an excellent position for promotion. Maybe the new manager syndrome will kick in tomorrow. 3-2 Saints!

I too was at the game - we should have taken our chances in the first half. The ref was diabolical. In the second half there was too much hoofing the ball forward and losing possession and we just do not seem to be able to deliver a decent ball into the box and have a player there! We made a lot of noise especially in the first half. The MK fans did not make much noise at all until they scored. I would have liked to see Guly come on to play but not to be.

This is just crazy. We have played well and been unlucky so far this year. Saturday we finally clicked into gear - the future was certainly bright - and now ...... Other teams always start well with a new manager. We don't. Although AP may have made some strange tactical decisions he was certainly going to take us into the Championship although he might not have been the man to take us back to the Premiership. This is just crazy.
