So can anyone recommend any decent drinking establishments in Hartlepool?

Always hard to call as there is no "away end" as such and there are always a fair few Scandanavian Saints in attendance, but I'd say anything between 50 and 100 at the games I've done, always been a good crack. Also, for those moaning about the prices in Norway and Sweden, Switzerland won't be much better I can tell you! Think one of the Baltic states would be spot on for long weekend in July please

Cheers, should have spotted that really, hard to tell if that covers League One games up to the end of Jan or just December. Guessing after that we're down to a month or so notice for the rest of the season.

Anyone know when sky announce the games they'll be showing in the new year? Looking at sorting out a few cheap train deals well in advance, so would be handy to know......cheeers :smt040

Was at both of them! We usually had at least one result like that per season while during the 90s!

Done 100% a few times over the years, not too hard to do, usually a fair few manage it. Hartlepool away the only real tough one this year.

Cheers for that, had missed that option. Still looks like that won't get you back to Newcastle until 23.30ish, might pay a bit more for a cab and get back an hour earlier.

Hadn't realised we were going to get both ends, had just assumed it would be one end and one of the side stands, that will be weird. It will be embarrassing if we don't sell the majority if these tickets now.

I'm probably picking you out as an unfair example here, by why on earth do people put these posts up? "I've just bought my ticket" "I've just booked my train", if everyone who was doing this game did that, you'd have 10 pages of pointless s**te. The whole point of this board should be to get/pass on decent info about the best way to get somewhere/cheapest trains available/best pubs/ticket sales info etc............. Rant over

Hopefully we can fill it, but personally I think it might be a bit over-ambitious for a ground that many have visited before and with so many other games on over the next couple of months.

Does anyone know from what times we will be able to pick up our tickets from the Memorial Stadium if we order our tickets on the phone over the next couple of days?

Think they've already announced the TV games for that weekend, at least I hope they have as we've already booked our travel up!
