I can confirm that myself and a large number of others that I know would love to see them slowly and painfully slip away into oblivion, never to be seen or heard of again.

Losng our last game before the transfer window a blessing in disguise?
Sour Mash replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
No we don't. We need to do 10 points better than one of those half a dozen teams, as well as bettering any of the other 6 teams between us and the play offs, not impssible, but becoming more and more unlikely as the season goes on. -
No, they do open the lower tier, just don't think its often as most teams don't need the bigger allocation and I think they try to limit away allocations for teams like Leeds etc who would otherwise fill it.
-
What a load of moaning old sour grapes. We were beaten by a better team on the day, wasn't the best day out in the world, but then who really expected it to be? Saints could learn a bit from Colchester about getting results from limited resources.
-
Even though I'm a season ticket holder, I'm not a huge fan of this. However, as stated above, how many people really only decide to go to a game on the day? I know loads of Saints fans and can't really think of any that do, maybe a day or so before, but that's about it. Also like it or not, but the club needs as much revenue as it can get to be a genuinely self-sustained success, needs to get that money from somewhere I'm afraid.

Pompey Ticket News ( 900 sold for Chelsea tonight )
Sour Mash replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Lounge
It's mental mate, I'm loving League One, fair prices, proper football grounds, class days out and a good chance of a result. The idea of paying circa £40 at a lot of the prem grounds would def put me off, can't believe there is that many people out there who are happy to pay it week in week out. -
Plenty of clips on youtube of Spurs singing it very well. I hate them which p****s me off even more!
-
Biggest Wheterspoons in the world well worth a visit. Not too far from station and ground.
-
Can't make up my mind about this, certainly good to encourage fans to buy in advance, but £2 extra for those that pay on the day, I'm not so sure this is the right way to go about it, makes it expensive for a game of league one football.
-
Fingers crossed mate!

I hope you're banned.

What's our -10 points got to do with this? Wrong thread mush.

Also a train back from Bletchley to London at 22.09. Much better for a drink around Bletchley Station than MK Central in my opinion. Looking forward to this one.

Cheers. Still reckon we'll end up very close to selling out, I know a fair few people who always leave it to the last minute to get their tickets. -

Maybe, just think of all the many things we can rip the p**s out of them for, selling near 1k away at Chelsea with prices at £44-47 aint that bad. If anything we should rip the p**s out of them for spending that sort of money watching that ****e... -
Pompey Ticket News ( 900 sold for Chelsea tonight )
Sour Mash replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Lounge
As much as I f*****g hate those c***s from down the road, I find it hard to blame anyone for not paying the stupid money that gets charged for tickets in the prem, especially for grounds you've been to before and know you have very little chance of winning. Pay £44-47 for Chelsea away when we're back up there? Not me. -
I wonder where/when/how Lambert started showing his class. Macclesfield, Blackpool, Stockport, Rochdale suggests he really struggled. Maybe it was the move to being a striker, still a fairly unique change in this day and age.

The opening post asked "Any way when were at the Leeds united game do you think all southampton fc fans should wear Santa hats?" and people have answered what they thought. You can't have a thread asking what people think of something and when they answer you get on your high horse.
-
Oh bore off and actually read what was in the opening post.
-
It was a half-decent rendition of our song, nothing more, nothing less and there are still a fair few other teams that do it a lot better, what exactly are you getting excited about?
-
Just to get things straight and make sure we're all talking about the same thing here, a football club didn't offer you one exact seat for one game of football? That is what you're going on about right?
