Paul Wotton who else?
-
We're offering to pay a lot more money them those other teams has more to do with it I think.
-
The majority of modern footballers will play anywhere if they're paid enough, think it fairly certain we must be offering these players very decent contracts to drop down a league.
-
I actually kind of agree with Dell Days here. While I'm certainly happy we have owners who are happy to put up the money that will help to achieve success, it does beg the question how sustainable it is? We must be in a good financial position as a club, but some of this money must be coming directly from Liebherr's own pockets? And how much would he need to put in to make us a success at Prem level? What would the fans reaction be if we did go into debt to try and achieve success? Would you rather we balanced the books, but were a settled mid-championship side? Or gamble again with debt and aim higher? Or rather than not relying on a wealthy benefactor or debt, the club were to put ticket prices up to finance future success?

No you didn't "tell" me anything. I had said all along that the march would never happen and the whole point of it is to wind up and antagonise. I also said all along that it doesn't matter if it is one man, 100, or 1 million, its about the influence and impact they can have. I know that the majority of muslims don't support him.
-
Absolute spot on answer, won't find a better description of James' footballing abilities anywhere!
-
Agree. Like him or not Saganowski easily has the talent to make a massive impact in this league. Something obviously isn't right, but its one of the big reservations I have about Pardew. Its his job to either get rid or get him motivated and playing. Good managers must often find themselves with under-motivated stars these days, part of their job is to get the most out of these players. I'd hate to know how much we're paying for Saga's wages right now.
-
Meant to be OK at the moment, obviously still a week to go. I'm pretty sure you can get a refund no problem if the game gets postponed though.
-
I've heard we're def interested in him from a very reliable source, whether it will happen or not I don't know!
-
Bizarre to be thinking about something like that now.
-
Why would Leeds care if we made the play offs or not?
-
Man City the Southampton of the Premier League?
-
If that's true (taking it with a pinch of salt as always) then its not great, doesn't sound like he's massively enthused to be joining us and its more about the money. Will wait and see anyway.

Still wrong

Solent Don - I take it you are an MK Dons fan? Can I ask why you support them?
-
Well you do now  Get on the terracing before it sells out.
-
Think just over 700 sold to date according to the TO.
-
According to the ticket office this morning we have sold a bit over 800 for MK Dons away, 200 for Brentford and 700 for Millwall..............
-
Will be absolute quality if all that is true (and yes I know who you are talking about!). Fingers crossed these signings go through without a hitch and we make a real push for promotion this year.
-
Don't know why any of their players would be THAT bothered by saying that public, its hardly a surprise that that's what they think and I doubt any of them would lose too much sleep if they became unpopular and the skates got rid - in other words what do any of them have to lose?
-
Very good to hear that is! DOes anyone know if these are in the north stand or a continuation of the north east corner? Also I think someone mentioned previously that it was unreserved seating, again, is this the case?
-
Of course whoever carried out the petrol bombing is complete scum. But the articles you put up show that they didn't do anything until the petrol bombing. The point is where were the protests and challenges against the extremists simply because they strongly believed their views were wrong? There weren't any.
-
If you're talking about their protest at the Royal Anglian parade, then no they weren't shouted down by other muslims, but chased by the mainly white crowd who had turned out to watch the parade.
-
No, the majority of fundamentalist muslim demos I have seen in this country have shown no counter protest from what we could call "mainstream muslims". Where as the UAF has been created to protest against the british far-right (which they do very well), what groups have been created to challenge the likes of Islam4uk and counter protest against them? Maybe they exist and turn up in big numbers wherever Islam4uk etc are, I must jsut always miss them.
