  1. Well its 6th round of the Fa Cup that weekend, so if we make it that far then the Tranmere game will be moved. Also taken a gamble & booked our trains, but got them very cheap.
  2. I'm sure it must have been on here before and I've missed it, but does anyone know if away goals count extra in these area finals if all equal after both games?
  3. To be fair I've used them and they are excellent coaches, much better than any other coach I've been on, very comfortable and getting in on time. Don't know how good they will be long-term or if they will suit doing football trips, but its good news for Saints fans that there is genuine competition.
  4. Go and have a lie down in a dark room, for a long, long time.
  5. They'll almost always advise you to "buy now", as its the sensible option if available.
  6. Can someone confirm what it is we actually send? Is it a letter addressed to the ticket office saying something like "name, address, customer number and bank details"? What do we/don't we need to include?
  7. Plenty of good pubs in Fenny Stratford and Bletchley, most in walking distance to the ground, not as bad as people make on in terms of pubs.
  8. No mate, definitely wouldn't risk it for this one.
  9. Ha, according to their message board tickets are on general sale in the Exeter ends.....got to laugh at the irony of that...........
  10. As discussed on the Saints Away section, what a joke this is. Fingers crossed they'll see sense and release the full (still quite small) allocation. Not one to have a go at smaller clubs, but how poxy are Exeter, it isn't our fault if they/their security people can't manage a home game against Leeds, sell lots of tickets to away fans in the home end, then decide to move them into the away end as "there looked like there was lots of room". Got in late at the cup game down there last season as well due to long queues.
  11. Think they'll release more tickets once the FA have told them off. Would be ridiculous holding back tickets for us because of one unconnected incident.
  12. No, my reading of it was that that is what they're hoping is enough, but if there are too many "3+" people it'll be a ballot. Must be well over 500 who have done more than 3 away games and registered them? Most of those that go regularly should be fine, but its still poor just because they couldn't manage a home game to Leeds (selling home tickets to large numbers of away fans, then just moving them into the away terrace because there looked like there was room etc). Got in late for the League Cup game there last season as the queue to get in was so long.
  13. What a load of s***te! I'm not one to have a go at smaller clubs, but what a poxy little club Exeter are. I'll be fine for a ticket, but its extra hassle and a lot of people I know will probably miss out.
  14. No its still poor away support for what is probably the easiest awat game of the season to get to.
  15. Very poor that is.
  16. Thought they've said tickets would eb available on the door? Or alternatively, see the post directly below yours.
  17. Well reading the Wikipedia site (yeah I know) on his career it doesn't sound amazing. Half decent squad player with a bit of pace I guess.
  18. Don't know enough about him to be honest, but have to wonder why Norwich don't feel the need to hold onto him? Norwich are one of the teams we are competing with, if he's not good enough for them, then is he right for us?
  19. I take it you are joking?
  20. Loads of pubs all around London Bridge, just take your pick of those listed above, everyone will be spread out I reckon.
  21. Yeah, of course, my post is massively over-simplified. But they're definitely looking at it as an investment and will at some point look to get back what they've put in, maybe as profit from Champions League TV rights I hope....
  22. Spot on. Their business plan would have been something like this; buy us on the very cheap, knowing the infrustructure, support etc is there, cut out a lot of the inefficiencies in the way the club is run, use their expertise to make us a success and get us back into the Premiership and then sell on for a tidy profit. At absolute worst they'll get back what they put in if it all goes wrong.
  23. What's your point?
  24. It doesn't mean that at all. It is easily possible and has been proven on numerous occasions in the past that quality players can be picked from further down the footballing pyramid, just takes a really good eye for a player and enough ground work.
