  1. Video technology for football will never work. The ref on saturday was very poor, but that had more to do with him being a jumped up, clueless, little midget and no amount of video technology would change that.
  2. Why on earth would anyone do that?
  3. You sound like one of the most boring, snivelling, little dweebs on this forum. I think you are a pathetic embarrassment to our club.
  4. Spot on summary of what happened. The police were a complete and utter joke, arresting Saints fans for no good reason which caused the disturbance. Saints fans' reaction to the constant wind ups from our left were very restrained compared to 90% of other clubs in that situation.
  5. I'm assuming home tickets are only on sale to those on the database? Still no doubt they'll be Leeds fans dotted around the ground.
  6. Unless I've missed something there are still 6k+ tickets remaining? That must be about the same amount we sell for every home (taking out season tickets)? Now considering every season ticket holder has had the chance of two tickets and overall there are 37/38k Saints fans already with tickets, I'm struggling to see why there will be that much panic over the remaining tickets? Yes it will sell out, but if you're quick on Weds morning or whenever it is, you shouldn't have a problem. There will also be a fair few spares turning up nearer the time.
  7. You should be fine, just make sure you're both quick off the blocks first thing Wednesday morning.
  8. I heard a rumour elsewhere they had only been given the smaller allocation by us (circa 2.4k) due to them "misbehaving" a bit in the ground last time they were down. Didn't actually believe it, but looks like it could be true. Leeds would be able to sell out 3.2k no problem given the chance.
  9. I've still got a sickening feeling they're going to fluke a win against Brum on Sat and will have cheated themselves to another Wembley appearance. Horrible, jammy, cheating t***s.
  10. " - LOL pikey, takes all sorts, All I can say is look on you tube and search silverspoons wembley and it might change your mind about the place. Its famous amongst most of the regular wembley finalists as the best atmosphere in town. It's not, it's a f*****g dive, but crack on trying to rip Saints fans off by charging £10 for the privilege.
  11. Which ever way you look at it, it is stupid. How hard could it be for Wembley to manage ticketing lay outs so that the maximum number of seats could be available. Can't be that hard, they get a fair bit of practice, instead everyone loses out this way.
  12. Silverspoons is S***te, don't know why anyone would PAY A TENNER to drink in there as opposed to a normal pub despite how close it is to the ground. Much better to just get some cans and dring along Wembley Way and around the ground.
  13. Putting to one side what was or wasn't advertised previously, I certainly think Saints certainly need to take a good look at their various booking systems. An easy to use, fast and efficient system would quickly stop all the moaners!
  14. As Jackanory stated above, Man Utd's match going support is probably some of the least "sheep" like in the country. Of course they have loads of clueless fools that follow them, but that will always be an unfortunate side-effect of them being a big/very successful club/side. United will always be one of the sides I "hate", but their regular match going support is much more clued up than most. Would also take my hat off to them for all the various anti-Glazier stuff they've done, much better than sitting gormlessly letting their club crumble without challenging their dodgy owners like the skates "support" did. I do think they're slightly hyporitical though, as they were happy to enjoy the beneficial side of the commercialisation of football, so a bit hard to sympathise when it comes back to bite them.
  15. Excellent performance. Don't forget that Walsall are no mugs, have been on a good run and have been around the upper third of the table for most of the season. Whole team played well, but thought Ostemobor looked good, removed a few doubts about his ability. Thought Puncheon completely ran the show at times. Just to say, I actually left the ground yesterday feeling disappointed. What a waste it will be having this team playing for another 15months in League One. Our first 11 is comfortably good enough to compete in the Championship, got to be frustrating for everyone concerned that we'll have to plough through another season down here.
  16. Well said. Two very good players at this level. How anyone can slag off Lallana I don't know, the lad is class, 14 goals from midfield, he's only 21 I think, what would be classed as "good enough"!!
  17. It would have been easy for Man Utd fans to have buried their heads in the sand and continue to enjoy watching their team win the Champs league and Prem League, but instead loads have got up off their @rses and seriously challenged the way their club is being run and the level of debt they have been saddled with. I find it amazing that none of the Skates made any sort of serious noise about how their club has been run over the last few years, even now they don't really seem to get it.
  18. Look at the way very large number of Man Utd fans have protested against the Glaziers and the way their club has been saddled with huge amounts of debt. Despite huge levels of success on the pitch, they have continually challenged the way their club is run. The Skates support on the other hand..................
  19. Was thinking this as well, would have thought they'd be looking at releasing season ticket details fairly soon, as we know we'll be in League One next season. Know a lot of other clubs have released their details. Maybe having a Wembley game taking up all the ticket office time, they've decided to hold off until that is out of the way.
  20. Can I just confirm I've got the correct jist of this thread. The FA are saying its ok to have ineligible players on the bench in cup games?
  21. So after all the hype on here about how completely f****d the skates are, its now looking likely that they could just be starting next season in the Championship with a clean slate. They're going down anyway, -9 points or not. Looks like relatively speaking they'll get out of this ok, what a surprise!
  22. Some will have residents only parking nearest to the station, others will have free parking around the tube stations in the side streets etc. Do a bit of reseasrch and you should have a quick/cheap journey to Wembley.
  23. I've never been a massive fan of Gordon Brown, but he's definitely gone up in my estimation reading that. And anyway, its hardly a surprise, aren't all scots mentalists?
  24. Its a fair bit further to drive than Richmond, but much easier on the tube. Lots of other options which are a nearer drive are the various Ruislip Stations, Uxbridge etc.
  25. Yeah Rickmansworth is a decent option, as you say right on the M25 and a big multi-storey car park (not sure about prices) right next to the tube station. You get lots of people parking all over the north west London suburbs and getting the tube in a couple of stops. If you choose to drive its the easiest way of doing it.
