No one really cares apart from you!
-
Would doubt that very much. Where did you hear that? Normally give them yeates/The Square/Old Fat Cat - rubbish pubs and shortest distance to manage Leeds to and from the ground.
-
100% spot on.
-
Tell them in advance. Always looks good to be proactive as well.
-
F**k! Should have read semi Final obviously. You get my point though.
-
There are of course exceptions to every rule

No-one thinks the Skates are going to come out of it "smelling of roses", but many are bored of hearing "they're toast", while seeing them winning 4-1 at St Mary's and making an FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley, not getting rid of players. Even relegation isn't that bad for them, They've been up 7 or 8 years now, most clubs of that size tend to last that long before dropping back down, look at the likes of Sunderland, West Brom etc, so that's not so much of a big deal. Yes, the future is still looking very bleak for the blue few, but I won't be celebrating anything yet.

I don't get why anyone does these things for "charity", even those who do stuff like run 25 marathons in 30 days or whatever it is. Just get people to give you the money because its a f*****g good cause and not because you want to do some stupid, attention-seeking activity, that will show everyone how mad, yet caring you are, that will need sponsorship. And while they're at it, put the money that they will waste doing the aforementioned "crazy" task towards the charity concerned as well.

There are a fair few pubs around Wembley. The Torch is quite big, just up the road after turning left out of Wempley Park. There is also a small irish pub called the Golden something or other just before the Torch. Between Wembley Stadium station and Wembley Central, along the high street there are a number of pubs, The Greyhound which is massive and very close to the ground, and a big wetherspoons and a few other pubs between there and Wembley central. Not sure if they allocate them to either club or if it's a case of first come first served! I think the Wetherspoons opens at 9am! Another option is Baker Street, a fair few pubs around there, 20 mins on the tube to Wembley.Park, or about 15mins on the overline from Marylebone to Wembley Stadium.

Maybe so, I can't stand Leeds fans, never met a decent one. But can't knock the numbers they have taken away every game since being down here and the vocal support they give their team.
-
Well my original point still stands whichever way you look at it

Can one of the more clued up on here explain how/what has happened? Why did the HMRC have to go to court if PCFC had the correct paperwork? Why did it take them until now to get the correct paperwork to the HMRC? This is all far too confusing for me
-
Book yourselves on the one going from Bournemouth that is being advertised on here.
-
OK, I'll give you that, although I'm still fairly sure that Millwall did sell more than that. My original point still stands entirely.
-
Millwall DEFINITELY sold more.

Loads and loads of clubs. Think LUTON took more for last season's competition. Think Stevenage took over 30k there. It's a day out for a whole town/city. You don't judge a team on it's support at a Wembley final, you judge it on it's support at a dull, midweek, nothing to play for northern away game.

I can certainly see why individuals would disagree with Thatcher on some of her policies, but why that level of hatred? Genuine question.
-
Cheers one and all, some great information on here. One more question, I'm guessing New York is still fairly expensive? How much could one expect to pay for a beer? Or a normal decent lunch in a deli or diner?
-
Should be able to take it into the ground without a problem, won't let you hang it over any advertising, but think it will be OK if you find somewhere without advertising.
-
Oh for f**ks sake. It was/is £3 per booking via the internet and £3 per ticket for bookings over the phone.
-
Why? There are 4,000 ticket still left. That is a lot of tickets, considering that 40,000 Saints fans already have tickets (that's not even counting those who have bought boxes, club wembley seats or panicked and bought in the Carlisle end)!

Will you go when we reach the promised land...

Got a mate who is camping for the whole tournament! Rubbish place for the World Cup in my humble opinion.
