Why do fans use his first name? It should be "Walcott" not "Theo". And yeah, he shouldn't have made the World Cup squad, so well done Capello.

:smt041 Exactly. I'm sure it can be a tiring and stressful job at times and they're stuck dealing with some absolute morons on occassions, but please don't paint it out to be some sort of safety critical, emergency support job, as SRS says above, they serve food and drink and can maybe help a bit with some basic first aid. I couldn't care less if a stewardess could "Take command of a lifeboat in a ditching event"

Read the link AGAIN - read page 2 - see what is required of cabin crew. Remember this next time you fly - and be thankful that there are trained crew members available to deal with all sorts of life threatening emergencies. Can someone tell me how often these "highly trained" staff have put their emergency evacuation skills into action resulting in the saving of any lives.....? We're meant to be so thankful for their "emergency disaster" skills, I'd love to know what these actually are and how often they have ever been used to make a difference?

Exactly. Just finished an FA Cup final at Wembley that they weren't THAT far from winning, possible pre-season tour of the USA coming.....Yes they'll struggle for years to come, but I still don't see how they've been punished for cheating the system. Guess we've just got to wait.

Just heard they're touring the USA pre-season! WTF?

What is this "King Arthur" place you speak of?

£12 aint so bad, same as a dull day at the cricket or the cinema I guess. And I doubt they really care how big the crowd is as long as costs are covered. -

But as I say, the longer they drag out not releasing details, the less flexibility there is for all concerned. What do you think would be an acceptable timescale for releasing details? A week before the season starts? The club has been a touch "frustrating" with its communication to supporters of late. Probably not worth arguing about anyway, as I'm sure they'll release details soon......... -

No, not really. There are a fair few variables - how much will they be? How long will the "cheaper" renewals be on sale? What payment plans, if any, will be available? The longer the club take to announce things the less flexibility they have to give early bird type deals and renewals, and will end up having to lump a lot together. -
What's the point in this thread apart from reminding us what poor support Fulham have? They also do LOADS of games at £5 a pop, reason being is not that many people want to go and see them.

Why not just buy a ticket for the games you are going to go to? You do understand the concept of a "season ticket"?
-
That's not what people are singing, its "you fat b@astard", which I agree, should go back to the old, "you're sh1t ahhhhhh" of old if it really has to be done at all! Agree on the barmaids bit though.

Where are all those who had "very trusted sources" and were ITK now? Full of BS as usual!
-
What? It's probably the most popular part of the ground along with the seats on the half way line.
-
Who has asked for any of that?
-
Utterly pointless then. You could be completely right, you could be completely wrong. How can anyone on this board make any kind of judgement on the information you have posted without knowing you personally? Just don't get the point.
-
If I trusted a source enough to post that info on a public message board with that much certainty I'd happily back it up by saying I'd never post again if it was true. Do you trust your source or not? Roughly what is their role? You say you're not a wind up merchant, but you're just another in a long list of people who are chucking completely unsubstantiated rubbish onto this board. Or can you back up your information?
-
Agreed. I'm definitely a "supporter" of Cortese, but his communication and PR is poor at times to say the least.
-
What really WOULD make a difference to our vocal support is if more people got behind the team all around the ground, wouldn't really matter so much what those in the Northam and or Itchen do or don't do. Aint going to happen though is it......
-
That's fine, you don't need to name names. Give us an idea of what his role at the club or whatever is? And agree if you are wrong to never post on this board again?
-
Maybe. But how many times have there been away fans close to block 42 this year. Not much more than a handful and will probably be even less next year.
-
Pardew has done what any good manager with his resources would have done. He's done well, but nothing exceptional. On the other hand, having an ambitious bilionaire owner and the man who brought him to the club and is keeping him at the club IS something exceptional.

Just further proof it it was needed of quite how thick some of our supporters are.
