Has anyone walked directly from Filton Abbey Wood to the ground without any pubs stops before? If so, how long does it take, as have been told different things and might be rushing on the day.

There are a lot of police officers that earn a lot of money out of very easy over-time with the football, it doesn't do them any harm at all to hype up the problems relating to games, much easier and more fun for them to bully a load of tax payers trying to watch a game of football than dealing with a crack head burgler I'm afraid.

So you wouldn't be bothered if someone followed you around a supermarket with a camera for example? Think most normal people would find it very annoying as they did with the policeman at St Mary's.

Tried doing this at the start of the season, would save some of the predictions and not others so gave up.

Please give us an example of a justifiable reason for such an over the top level of filming?

Well surely it is better that they're allowed to actually watch the game in peace rather than have a camera unnecessarily focused on them for a length of time?

A few supporters went down to the officer concerned to do just that and were moved away. It wasn't just a "handful of yobs" that were annoyed by this officer's behaviour, but a vast majority of the Northam and Kingsland North stands. It was completely unnecessary and provocative. You wouldn't be happy if a policeman followed you around the shops with a camera, just in case you decided to steal something? So why should it be any different at the football. An absolute waste of tax-payers money.

Quality signing on the face of it. As stated above just depends how he adapts to english life and a winter in the English lower leagues. Not sure who will be dropped for him, my choice would be Puncheon, but will be interesting to see. Anyone know if he will be playing tomorrow night?

I agree the crowd was no-where near as big as it should have been, 30k+ is what we should have got for such an occassion. But you honestly think there were 11k seats empty at Saturday's game?

I reckon that attendance figure of 21k must be wrong, no-way was there 11k of empty seats from what I could see. Having said that, still a very disappointing turn-out from Saints fans, can't believe we couldn't turn out 30k for such an occasion.

I think Saturday showed once and for all that those charged with the responsibility of policing football games and particularly those currently at Saints games, have little interest in really "protecting" innocent supporters and are far keener at throwing their weight around at any given opportunity, intimidating normal supporters and justifying their vast cost.

I have NEVER met anyone who would not go to a watch a game of football in a modern, covered stadium because of the chance of a bit of rain outside. If the crowd is low its because people aren't too @rsed about watching saints play Orient, lets not make up any other reasons for it. We all know if we were playing Man Utd, Chelsea etc it'd be 30k+ no problem. Anyway, fingers crossed people get off their back-sides and get along to St Marys for the afternoon.

You think 4k of fans won't go because of holidays? And the chance of showers will effect the attendance?

If you can't see the difference between the Skates and Green, then I give up. Loads of businessmen, both big and small use lots of different ways to minimise the tax they pay, very few don't try and (legally) play the system in some way.

I agree. Never hit a women and don't intend to either. Just using it as an example that in extreme cases if a women was attacking you, it is very different to a the usual scum/domestic violence type situation. Judge every case individually.

So if a women attacked you with an axe (for example) you wouldn't hit her?

I reckon the 18.5k figure must be wrong. Why would they open block 43 for Saints fans a fair few days ago if that is all that has been sold. Ticket office often gets these things wrong, I'm still expecting 25k absolute minimum.
