  1. Domestic league fixtures shouldn't be played at Wembley, it's a joke.
  2. Tubes normally run. Trains don't.
  3. West Ham away will be moved due to athletics?
  4. May has been a poor Prime Minister and ran a terrible campaign, but is there a single person on this forum that would want Corbyn, Abbott and McDonnel running the country?
  5. Because the very rich or corporations only represent a small number of votes, "young people" represent millions of votes and offering them loads of free stuff has clearly had an affect on the numbers voting for Corbyn. The problem is they are from a generation that has had little exposure to the dire consequences of socialism.
  6. Which bit of his career suggests that?
  7. What's your forecast?
  8. Not quite rioting, but plenty of Socialist Workers demonstrating outside Downing Street today with 'Defy Tory Rule' banners. Weirdos.
  9. Who would take over from Corbyn going forward? He's getting on a bit and won't be PM. Labour would need to find a far left MP who can present well enough to the public. Not sure how many of those are about.
  10. I don't think the election was much to do with Brexit either way. Most of the UKIP support feel its a done deal and went back to either Labour or Tory. Corbyn caught the public imagination, May didn't, rather than anything specifically Brexit related.
  11. Clearly it is.
  12. They put all that in their manifesto?
  13. It hasn't proven to be her undoing though. Weakly hiding away all campaign, coming out with ridiculous, unpopular policies such as fox hunting and "dementia tax", not focusing on the tories's positives has been her undoing.
  14. A few questions on that; will there eve be a fully united party behind Corbyn? Would Labour MPs put to one side their ideological differences if they thought it would get them into power? Also, does it matter - in the end it was Corbyn v May that made the difference (in the opposite way to what was originally anticipated) not much about what individual MPs did or said. Also, can Corbyn and his followers keep it up or have they peaked? If this is a peak, versus one of the worst tory campaigns imaginable, they're still nearly 60 seats behind them.
  15. Yes and no. Corbyn campaigned really well, built up momentum and gave people something to get behind. Look at it the other way, despite an utterly abysmal campaign, and very poor leadership, the tories still 50+ more seats than Labour. Put a charismatic leader in charge of the tories and run a remotely decent campaign and they're miles ahead. Can Corbyn or equivalent harness the same support for Labour in the long run, I'm not sure.
  16. Trump, Corbyn, Brexit all show there is a lot of support there for a charismatic outsider who can develop and harness momentum and appeal to a sense of injustice (rightly or wrongly held).
  17. The North East was always likely to be relatively strong for the Tories, fair bit of Brexit support and socially conservative in sections that wouldn't be keen on Corbyn.
  18. You seem to have a really balanced, non-biased view on all this
  19. What is your definition of "public wealth"?
  20. Mane has been a brilliant signing for them, as has Clyne, Lallana has been good too. Lovren 50/50 and Lambert poor for them, but he was an exception.
  21. Just to follow the correct procedure of managing their transfer, as the club would expect. That's got nothing to do with wanting to earn more money or play for a bigger club, both of which he is going to get without too much problem.
  22. Is Tuchel really that unrealistic? He's obviously got a good reputation in the game, but this isn't Guardiola we're talking about here.
  23. Don't know how many remember Klopp coming onto the pitch at St Mary's to hug and chat to Mane after our league game in 2016. Can't stand the slimey creep.
  24. Every corner of the globe it touches http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4573974/Melbourne-terror-attack-gunman-named-Yacqub-Khayre.html
  25. Pity we can't do something in terms of a development at St Marys, it is just a bit boring, an extra tier would help that. Never going to happen with current demand though.
