It is faster paced. Almost as if they had realised they faffed about so much in seasons 1-4, they knew they only have a few episodes left to finish the story. Has been a great series.
Recently been listening to the 3 discs of Satan Live..."Daddy? Yes son. What does regret mean? Well son, a funny thing about regret is etc.....oh and be sure sure to tell your mother...SATAN, SATAN, SATAN!!!"
X-Files: I Want to Believe - 500/1000. Not what I was expecting in the true vein of the series (and last film). More a below par thriller than supernatural, though always good to see Billy Connolly being creepy.
Torre de Belem. Also Jeronimos Monastery is close by with Vasco da Gama's tomb and pretty cool piece of Gothic architecture. Get a pasteis (traditional custard tart) at the famous blue tiled cafe across from here on the corner...the best in town.
Best beaches are on the Jesus statue side, Costa da Caparica about 15 minutes ride.
Spent a lot of time there over the years. Great city. Head for the Biarro Alto for nightlife.
Try for the Estadio da Luz for Benfica games and across the road Jose Alvalade for Sporting. Failing that, Belenenses have a basic little stadium atop one of the hills with great views over the Tagus river.
Fairly tricky to keep the fuselage from breaking up landing on water. What's more, he seems to have chosen to ditch by a busy ferry port which is really clever!
NY - your pic won't load.
Anyone remember when he walked off set swearing and in a tizzy when Danny Kelly kept making references to snooker players taking cocaine on an episode of Under the Moon?
Blockbuster had Devil's Backbone which I will watch tomorrow. Just saw Wanted (45 out of 60 or 75%) - very silly but rather good fun. Gran Torino next week.
