This news ceratinly makes up for there being no game today. Makes me feel optimistic about the future that a player getting regular first team football is still willing to drop down a division to play for us. Even if money does talk it still goes to show that Pardew and Cortese have their sights set and Liebherr is willing to back them financially. Great bit of news to wake up to on a Saturday morning with a slight hangover!

Thats classic. "I would but he's ugly!" -
Has he got much pace? Think we need that at the back.

Not sure, doesn't like they're on sale on Exeter's OS yet, hope we don't have to wait too long though, might be a rush for these if there's less then 1,500 available. I should be going down on the Friday night until the Sunday for this one.

Third in the league one top scorers behind Lambert and Beckford and if he's available cheap then its gotta be done I reckon.
-
Not too bad, a home draw at least, hope we can win it and get a more interesting tie in the fifth round.

I've never actually been to the Hole in the Wall, usually stop off at Waterloo to get a McDonalds breakfast, then head off to a pub nearer the ground. -
A Premiership London team away, like Spurs, Chelsea, Aresnal Pompey!

there was a huge que when I went to pick up my ticket yesterday, but that might have been because they only had 2 windows open. -

I'm getting mine today, would be a shame to have a half empty stadium, its the FA Cup! -

Glad to hear its unreserved seating, will be picking mine up tomorrow -
Met Holmes a couple of times, seems a really nice bloke, would love to see him get back in the team, but don't think he will, shame.

He usually sits next to me in the Northam! Great stuff, as soon as we grabbed that last minute equaliser it was always gonna go to us in the shoot out.

There was a bit of that going on on Saturday. Reminds me of when we went to Charlton away earlier this season, in the smoking area of the Antigalican a group of fans were singing it to the coppers. My mate was closest, they had a word with him, said "don't take the ****** mate, if you want to talk politics we can have a chat at 3pm" and threatened to arrest him!
-
It seems to be every time the police walk past.
-
The blokes in front of me always moan about Pardew, but they stop as soon as we take the lead, just need to be patient! They also hate Lloyd James with a passion.

I've been told by my Millwall mate (he's not a complete nutter!) that the police protection for away fans is pretty tight, apparently they wait at Bermondsey station and escort groups of fans to the New Den, a bit like when Millwall fans were escorted by police to St Marys in August. I know plenty of football fans that are intimidated by Millwall away and wouldn't go, the whole West Ham/Millwall league cup incident hasn't helped, but I don't think its a problem, just wouldn't fancy getting lost in that particular area of London on my own wearing Saints colours! -
I think thats a practice used by every newspaper owned by Newsquest, I know the Bradford T & A do the same.
-
Got a mate that lives there, so will be making a weekend of it.

How did you get train tickets so cheap? I'm really looking forward to this one, will be my next away game. How many will we take up? Safety in numbers might be best.
