  1. 1. Southend 2. Leyton Orient 3. Charlton 4. Gillingham
  2. At least Huddersfield have a tougher run in, remaining home games are against Millwall and Colchester, also won't be easy going to Exeter on the last day if they're still fighting to stay up.
  3. Made a spur of the moment decision today to go, as its last away game of the season. I quite enjoyed Nottingham away at the end of last season, shame about the result, but our fans were brilliant considering we were in administration and knew we would start the following season on -10, made me proud to be a Saint.
  4. I'm going from the very first line of the song.
  5. I'm not a very good song writer, but just listening to the original Human League, first line could be: "You were playing in defence at Selhurst Park when we signed you" Anyone want to have a go at the rest?
  6. Haven't been to as many as I would've liked, but here goes- 1. Southend - Only away win I've seen this season, got soaked, but had a good night out on the town afterwards. 2. Leyton Orient - Great to have so many fans up there, great support made it feel like it was a home game, enjoyed walking out the ground singing the Lambert song after his 2 late goals got us a draw. 3. Charlron - Always one my favorites every season, love having a good sing along in the Antigalican before the game.
  7. I'm originally from Hungerford, so got a lot of mates that are Swindon fans. They seem to have a good hard working squad with one or two outstanding players like Austin (I begrudingly admit), their last game of the season is away to Millwall, so that could be the potential play off decider.
  8. Two great goals, loved Lambert's goal and the confidence he had to hit it first time, everything he touches seems to turn to gold at the moment. Hartlepool's second was a real beauty, think that's the first time at St Mary's I've ever seen the home fans applaud an opposition goal.
  9. Best of luck to you all, what better incentive to get there on time!
  10. Interesting read, now I don't feel so bad about wasting my time on score predictor websites!
  11. This is a very bad night, I went to school with Charlie Austin, he's one of the most unpleasant individuals I've ever met, so arrogant, always gives it the big I am, had to put up with him for five years, such a tosser, why do the most undeserving people get success? He goes and scores the winner against us tonight, makes me sick. Personal feelings aside, we were poor tonight and just didn't look interested. We put out our strongest eleven, but there just didn't seem to be any commitment there at all, looked strong in the first half, but outplayed in the second half, hope AP slated the team in the dressing room after the game. Can't help but feel that tonight our slim play off hopes have come to an end, the rest of the League One season seems irrelevant now.
  12. He's always had that potential, used to skinned when I played against him at school and I suppose that arrogance has helped him get where he is. He's become a local hero back in Hungerford, its funny how the people that couldn't stand him before are now jumping on the bandwagon!
  13. Massive game for me, growing up in Hungerford I've got a lot of mates that are Swindon fans, losing to them twice this season would mean a horrid amount of abuse from them. Also went to school with Charlie Austin, typical big time Charlie that you see in most of today's players, so ****y and arrogant all through school, hate the thought of him scoring against us, so hopefully Fonte and Jaidi will keep him quiet.
  14. Actually a good song, reminds me a bit of Sham 69.
  15. I know his grandson through friends, met him a few times so always hear about what a great player O'Brien was, will ask if he's got any old tapes of his grandad, surely unlikely though?
  16. Shame about the kick off time, would have been nice to have quite a few pints before the game, but just to be going to Wembley is good enough for me. Got blocks 132-135, cat 3, hope thats where alll the noise will be!
  17. Held on for 20 minutes and finally got through, was just as well, any longer listening to that music would have driven me to insanity! And to make it coincidental, Simply Red - Holding Back The Years randomly came on shuffle on spotify whilst I was waiting (I'll Keep Holding On).
  18. I've been trying the ticket line all morning, no luck yet.
  19. Seemed to be fairly evenly matched from the two games I've seen between them at SMS this season, though Carrow Road isn't the nicest of places to go. At least we've had a week to recover from the Pompey game and Fonte will be back to boost the defence. I'll take a draw now.
  20. My usual 20 minute walk took over an hour yesterday due to police blocking off roads and telling us where we could and couldn't go.
  21. 27 consecutive years in top flight
  22. Live round the corner from Varsity so will be going there for my pre match fry up then drinks.
  23. Does day follow night? Can't wait!
  24. Perhaps there will be more Saints fans in the away section than the MK Dons fans?
  25. Shame I missed that, love that home made stuff. In Somerfields down there they had bottles of cider for 85p! Think they were supposed to be a bit more, but they had been put on the shelf as 85p, must have been by accident, so we made the most of it, was a good night on the town!
