  1. I don't really care if MLT has filled his book with "the funny side of pre season", thats the stuff I enjoy reading and so far from what I've read he's honest in what he thinks of Hoddle and Branfoot.
  2. I can't wait for this one, my favourite away game of the season, hope we can bring good support like the last couple of seasons, anyone in the Antigallican before the game?
  3. I'm really enjoying it, just got to the bit when Ball left and Merrington came in as manager. Its good to get Matt's opinions on his ex team mates and managers. I've laughed at some bits too, some very good pre season tour anecdotes. To answer the question earlier, there's 40 pages of fan's tributes at the back.
  4. It was worth waiting down at St Marys for two hours to get it signed today, 3 chapters in, looks like it will be a good read. I'm pleased as well to get my tribute to the great man in the section at the back of the book!
  5. Good idea handing out the song sheets last night, it was good to get it going, shame they had to score so early.
  6. Anyone else going down to St Marys tomorrow for the book signing? I see he's including fans comments in the back of the book, did anyone write anything? Don't think I've ever been more excited about an autobiography being released, hope the weather stays nice over the next couple of days so I can sit out in the garden and read it, maybe try and finish it before the game on Saturday.
  7. A few on the coach back from Swindon last night agree with that, he's a great goalkeeper, but can't influence the game from being in goal. Perhaps Murty would be a better option for captain.

    Lee Holmes

He started really well last season before getting injured at QPR, been struggling with injuries ever since. hopefully he can stay fit and hold down a place in the team, top quality bloke as well.
  9. If you're looking for a pub near the ground, apparently The Merlin is good, on Broad Road, just off the Magic Roundabout. I'm meeting some Swindon fans in there before the game, they say its home and away friendly.
  10. I'll be at Swindon, will join in if I'm sat near ya!
  11. I'm thinking about it, haven't seen Saints win on the road since beating Reading back in November and Stockport are one of the favourites for relegation, so might go. I'll probably see how the Huddersfield and Swindon games go before deciding.
  12. How about Feed the Lamb and he will score?
  13. Wouldn't want to see Pompey go under, there would be no one to direct our hatred towards. And we can't have Bournemouth as our biggest rivals!
  14. I'm "Where's the passion lads", pending approval.
  15. Its a potential trip to Wembley, hopefully we can beat most of the teams in the Southern section if we put out a strong team. So how do they decide who gets a bye?
  16. Kelvin's surely gotta be the best 'keeper in the league, outfield I would say Delph, Beckford or Lambert.
  17. Cheers for the info, thats great, got more money to spend in the pub in Shepherds Bush!
  18. Just spoke to the ticket office at St Marys, they're on sale now.
