Fair play to Kelvin for not reacting to the fan though. I didn't think the pitch invasion was any worse than the one at Preston away last season, I can understand a few fans getting carried away, heard a rumour that two arrests were made. Think there would've been a much larger scale pitch invasion if we had grabbed a last minute winner.

Will be getting the travel coach up for this one, big game.

I took your advice on the formation, its been pretty successful so far, played 10, won 7, drew 2, lost 1. Got Neil Mellor for 95k, good buy so far. -
Shame there's not a tesco in Soton town centre doing that, nearest one is Bursledon... http://www.footballmanager.com/index.php?p=article&newsid=3575

I'll probably go for something similar, have you had much success with that formation? Did you sell Lallana? -
Think we're taking the Northern Line to Tottenham Court Road, then Central to Leyton.

We need to sing more often about the great man, was good to hear a bit of "Walking in a Liebherr wonderland" in parts of the Northam on Saturday. I remember singing "Stand up if you love the swiss" at Bournemouth away when he had just taken over.

Can't wait to play it now, not sure whether to go 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 with Saints though? -
We're getting the 9am train, will probably go to the Coach and Horses near the ground and watch Arsenal/Spurs there.

When FIFA 10 was released a few weeks ago, a few of my mates went to the store at midnight on the day it was released to buy it. Does anyone know if any shops in Southampton are planning to do the same with FM?
-
Thats a good deal, we'll probably be doing the same, either getting the 9am or 10am train from Southampton Central. I expect to see a lot of Saints fans on the way up, should be good.

Wasn't expecting that, thought WGS would've taken a one year break from managing like he did when he left us then went to Celtic. All the best to him though.
-
The Lambert signing was massive and told the fans he's prepared to fork out to buy the best players in league one, so far he hasn't dissapointed, but value for money I would say Dan Harding has been most impressive, as he was free and has finally solved the problem at left back we've had for a while. Hammond has also shown he's a great signing at this level, but to be fair to Pardew all of his signings have made some sort of impact.

I haven't had a chance to play the demo, new layout looks good, might take me a while to get used though. Our squad looks pretty strong and with a decent tranfer budget for once there shouldn't be a problem signing a back up 'keeper, right back, midfielder and striker to improve.

Thats a decent price, cheers.

Anyone know how much a group ticket will be from Soton Central to Waterloo?
-
The Legends, Icons and Favoured Personnel all seem pretty accurate to me. Can't wait to buy the full version now, will probably go down to Game to buy it on that Friday morning, can't risk having this postal strike making me have the game late!
-
Wouldn't be surprised if that sort of stuff goes on all the time, at least Matt had the honesty to admit it.
-
Any one know of any good pubs around the ground to visit before the game?
-
There's a good programme on BBC Radio 4 tonight about it, sounds like worth checking out.

Pretty amazing singing that at Southend last night, don't think I've ever sang constantly for that long!
-
No cider at The Golden Lion either!

Got a spare ticket, one of our mates dropped out this morning, £10 ono, can meet outside Roots Hall. Ring 07765390318 if interested.
