It was indeed a bit awful; nice sausage sarnie at half time, mind.

Me and two mates will be trundling up the Northern Line after work tonight and will be heading for The Mitre.

Don't the CSA only get involved when either party makes a claim for benefits ?

Apart from Geraint's and David Millar's performances in the Prologue, the weekend has been a bit of a disappointment from a Brit's perspective; Brad's already got a battle to make up 30 odd seconds on his main GC rivals and I was SO sure that yesterday's Stage had Cav's name written all over it only for him to crash out near the finish. He won't get a look in today I should imagine; a little too hilly I think particularly as there's a Cat 3 climb near the end.

When will we know if HMRC will appeal against this ?

The "Lamberts off" rumours are doing the rounds again

Sir Richard has just got a mention on the New Zealand v Slovakia text commentary on the BBC website. (See 12.11) -
Agreed. Lots of happy clapping going on here. Can't wait for the new season to start !!

Can't you arrange for a light aircraft to fly over SMS trailing a banner complaining about your stealth tax ?

Inspired.

I loved the Little Lat, but his diving was pretty embarrasing, particularly towards the end.

People who take their brats into pubs..........

Huddersfield were shocking last night; let's hope that they carry that form on into next season. Peterborough will have the "Johnson effect" but will have very little to spend; they had the smallest playing budget in the CCC. Charlton have big money problems and I couldn't believe that they didn't sell out on Monday night. I think that it'll end up with either Swindon or Millwall finishing second to us; as someone said earlier...."Nothing can go wrong now !!" :-)

Where do you want the pre-season tour to be?

Personally, I am not worthy of claiming No. 25,000.
-
Me too, now. I sense that I'm going to be on the Tube.
-
Are we having tee shirts printed with "I was there when the 25,000 post went in" ?

I am prepared to have his children if necessary.

I found that quite amusing. I love the look on Papa's face.

First chance that I have had to post since Sunday, but I was lucky enough to be in the Club Wembley area and my seat was next to the gangway on which the players climbed as they went to collect the Trophy. So, not only was I able to shake hands as they went by, but I also decided to festoon a random player with my Saints scarf. So, who did I manage to select, Sir Richard ? Dan Harding (my MOTM) ? Fonte ? Nope, in my enthusiasm I chose..................Paul Wooton !!!!! Boy, did he look surprised ! Anyway, cursing my stupidity, I turned on SSN when I got home to view the highlights and lo and below there was PW being interviewed on the pitch at the end and he still had my scarf on. Which was nice.
