Not unless he's completely shut out, it's quite possible to make 'workflow' changes to negate that. If they work, great, if not then subs are an option, if we get a couple ahead early on he'll do that anyway. Their gameplan, will only work for the full 90 if they have the skill and fitness to pull it off, we did against Norwich, Walsall and Huddersfield, stop them playing 'ther' game, impose ours, rinse and repeat. Seriously don't think Tranmere have the ability to do that. 1-3

ISTR we went 1 down against Walsall pretty sharpish, didn't stop us winning 5-1 tho

Sounds like Tranmere are succeeding in frustrating his efforts, some change to the game plan needed for the second half.

I was in thereapy for a year after that, you sorta knew it was going to happen too, we came out all relaxed and looking for a cruise, they came out looking like they'd had the bollicking of their lives and the rest as they say.... is history.

It's usualy very choppy and verging on the unuseable for me in North Wales, on a god 8meg link, usualy end up listening to the opposition feed, which of course is always flawless (technicaly anyway) Tonite, I'm in a hotel in the midlands, using my dodgy 3 dongle and I heard the entire thing right thru till 10pm with no interuptions at all. I was kinda hoping that meant they'd fixed it, but reading other comments here it seems patchy. I shall fix it Saturday by making the (for me) short trip to Tranmere :-)

Fantastic result, haven't had this much fun since 76, and just LOOK at that goal difference, how important could that be come the final days of the season. 5 goals by 5 players - we're a goal machine, Leeds are so not going to fancy coming to SMS :-)

No it doesn't! it just highlights your constant gripes and total lack of any CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions - it's so easy to moan, gets you nowhere tho. 1) Games like tonight happen, shrug it off, learn from it, move on. 2) Playoffs are possible until the maths say otherwise, 3) Pardew has done a great job so far - more to come 4) Spending loads of money doesn't buy you an instant great team - it buys you a group of good players who over time you develop into a good team.

Funny how much thats spoiled my day :-( it's not like an hour before I expected us to win, I just hoped we'd try - and we certainly did that. If we'd buried a couple of our chances in the first 1/2 then it could have been very different, but we didn't, we compltely out played them for 75 minutes and even though 4-1 flatters them completely, we have to live with that, it's history now. I hope what we take from that, is that we are a good outfit now, forget all the distractions, try to win every league game now, if only to throw down a marker for 10/11 I wish we could say we'd gone out to the eventual cup winning side, but that's obviously not going to happen ;-)

**** - not 4, we don't deserve that...... On the plus side, we held it together against a Premiership side (ok a crap one) for 75 minutes. Oh and it's STILL 7-1 to US. Plus, we'll still definately be in business next season.
