After having read through this thread again and amongst a lot of posts, a few insults, and lengthy debate, I think the gem of the lot was two posts between Itchen_Block4 and CB Fry who weren't too far out with their observations in just a few sentences each.

Maybe this will help with the rating?... TYPES OF POO Ghost Poo: You know you've pooed. There's poo on the toilet paper, but not in the toilet. Where is it? Teflon Poo: So slick and easy you don't even feel it. No trace of poo on the toilet paper. You have to look in the toilet to be sure you did it. Goo Poo: This has the consistency of hot tar. You wipe twelve times and you still don't come clean. You end up putting toilet paper in your underwear so you don't soil it. Permanent skid marks are left in the toilet. Second Thoughts Poo: You're all done wiping and about to stand up when you realise... there's more to come. Pop a Vein in Your Forehead Poo: This is the kind of poo that killed Elvis. It doesn't want to come out until you're all sweaty, trembling, and purple from straining so hard. Weight Watchers Poo: You poo so much you lose several pounds. Right Now Poo: You'd better be within thirty seconds of a toilet. You burn rubber to get there and it usually gets its head out before you can get your pants down. King Kong Poo: This one is so big you think it won't go down the toilet unless you break it into smaller chunks. A wire coat hanger usually works well. This kind of poo usually happens when you're at someone else's house. Cork Poo: Also known as "floaters." Even after the third flush it's still there, floating in the bowl. My God! How do I get rid of it? Wet Cheeks Poo: This poo hits the water sideways and makes a bigger splash than the launching of the QE2, soaking your starfish. Wish Poo: You sit there all cramped up and fart a few times, but no poo. Cement Block Poo: You wish you'd got a spinal block before you pooed. Snake Poo: This poo is fairly soft, about as thick as your thumb and at least three feet long. Morning After Poo: Happens the day after the night before. Normally your poo doesn't smell that bad, but THIS one... Usually you're at someone else's house (normally a girl you're trying to impress) and they're waiting outside to use the bathroom. Mexican Food Poo: Also called "screamers." You know it's safe to eat again when your bum stops burning. Boo Hoo Poo: Makes you cry with pain and wonder whether your should risk the stitches or go for the fuller figure

Forgotten about that, maybe I'll need to get an old TV before I can hook it up again Unless it will work with a monitor... been a long time since its been out of the box. Cannon Fodder was one of my favourite games on Amiga, seconded with Chaos Engine. Never finished Another World, got stuck in a tunnel late on in the game and couldn't figure it out. Still got all 15 disks of Beneath a Steel Sky intact in its box too, but don't know if I'd have the patience to finish it nowadays!

I'm really looking forward to the new season, albeit with some trepidation. Looking at the sides in the Championship it looks quite tough and so trying not to get my hopes up as to where we will finish. I'd love it if we were to finish in a promotion spot and would like to think we could emulate what Norwich achieved or at least get as close as Leeds. With new signings we have certainly strengthened and although some players still have to prove themselves at this level I think they have the stamina and ability to step up. Although Adkins has been in the Championship before with S****horpe he didn't have the same resources at his disposal so it will also be a good season to see what he is truly capable of getting out of the players. I believe this is the most telling season yet to see how good our current squad actually is, the level of Adkins managerial experience and the best he can get out of them and how much they can achieve, and how much our current ownership will put in to continue their support and patience to providing the entire set up to keep us on track to the Premier League and onwards.

My thoughts were exactly the same JRM, and my surprised response much to the Mrs' annoyance was when I asked her if she had asked for tickets where I asked her to get them when she came back with tickets for Kingsland South. The TO clerk looked for two together first in the Itchen and then Kingsland stands, the only two she could find together were in Kingsland South. I don't like to be sceptical of our TO but I've also seen when friends have brought tickets in the past on a matchday basis who wanted them elsewhere that there are often groups of empty seats in the all stands, I don't believe these are all down to people that have tickets but don't turn up and I'm not sure why this is. So although tickets together for 2 people or more seems sparse I guess we'll find out for sure on the day if it's actually the case. Anything regarding match attendance threads before a game often seems to have differing messages coming from the TO about availability and tickets sold. I guess I'll start to understand this more now getting tickets on a match by match basis.

Couldn't renew my ST for this season as a couple of things cropped up that took preference and my savings for it However, I wasn't originally able to make the Leeds game but after change of plan I realised I could still go and take my nipper too. The Mrs went down to St. Marys today to get us the tickets and the TO could only find 2 seats together in the Kingsland South, with nothing else together in either the Itchen or rest of the Kingsland. As the Northam is always usually close to sell out it looks as if we are looking at quite a good turnout afterall despite people on holiday, game being on Sky, etc... I can't wait! I thought that without my ST now I wouldn't be so quite so enthusiastic to get matchday tickets but the second I knew I could make it.... think I may end up going to every home game still!

Good thread. Saints performances pretty much do have an effect on my mood, but usually only for the first few hours after and often like this... After a win I’ll be in a great mood, the Mrs and the kids often get treats and I think they know that it’s the best time to ask for me for anything they want. Positive from the win I’ll usually play about with the League predictor and change games I’d previously had as a draw into a win and look forward to the next few games to see us climb the table. Following on with happily drinking lots of beers and waiting for highlights on TV before going to bed for some fun with the Mrs. Should we lose, I’m apparently a grumpy miserable bastard. I can unintentionally be a bit snappy at the Mrs and the kids and they all go off to different rooms and leave me alone. With negativity, I then go on League predictors to change games I thought we’d win or draw into losses and dread the next few games that could see us drop down the table. Following on with miserably drinking a few beers and moaning to myself at the highlights on TV before falling asleep on the sofa.

I had the same problem with my Account on here using the @btinternet.com address, I changed it to the BT alternative and used @btopenworld.com and it was fine. You should be able to use the @btopenworld.com one too I believe, try that and see if it works.

Or dropping that blokes ring over the side of the ferry where he saw it splash into the water, then shook his foot with the ring tied to his shoelace. Although I'm very sceptical about their abilities, I find exceptional magicians great entertainment!

Why are so many people trying to sound american nowadays ??
Gigersaint replied to The Majestic Channon's topic in The Lounge
This thread makes me wonder if there is some American citizen out there in the US posting the opposite on a forum and asking "Why are so many people trying to sound Brit nowadays?" I'm sure it must happen both ways with global communication so widespread these days. All types of exchange and interpretation of the English language from one country to another probably changes and spreads to people the world over evolving the language. Language spreads easily and new words, terms, and catch phrases can regularly be heard amongst groups of friends, I'm sure we've all noticed it when one friend utters a new phrase out of the blue and within weeks most of your friends are using it too. TV advertising is another, "Simples" anyone? Grrrrr... Hate it when I hear people say this! I don't think it's that many people are trying to sound American these days, we've probably sent as many their way including the English language to begin with. With the fast growing evolution of Global communication in the last 15 years I doubt there are many decades left before the entire globe will be left speaking a single dialect. -
Good post and couldn't agree more. A well assembled squad with a strong team spirit and good understanding between each other can be more than enough to open up and beat other teams who on paper can appear to look stronger. I'm really looking forward to see how we mix it up against the other Clubs expected to be in the top six this season. I'm hoping we can be one of them but will wait until we settle into the season before making a prediction as to where I think we'll finish.

Heard a rumour about some lesbian twins the other day... apparently they lick alike.

Forum slow for the massive WBA pre season friendly?
Gigersaint replied to dune's topic in The Saints
Slow for me too, went off to a few other websites for a while and couldn't get back in, just kept getting a google message that no data was being received, along the lines of saintsweb unresponsive etc, and to try again later. I only ever get this message from this website. -
Still got my old Commodore Amiga and loads of old retro games. Must have had it since late 80's, early 90's, one day when I've got an extra room in the house I'll get it back out and hook it up for old times sake. Thing is I probably wont want to put it away again and is why I don't get it out now only to pack it all away again.

Forgot to add Sevvy, if the freeware recovers your pictures but doesn't let you use it without purchasing don't download it, let me know and I could probably get you a full working version from work.
