The smell of a Full English cooked outside on a camping stove.

What about Kingsland North for away fans? They would still exit the same direction for the coaches mingling with the Northam home fans as they do now and be away from the Exec boxes. The Northam can then be filled with a full end of loud home support and would probably still see a fair share on the other side filling up in the remainder of the Kingsland too.

Where do you expect Saints to finish this season?

They're a long way away now from their earlier great tracks such as "Plug in baby" still my fave.

Yeouch, had a few mishaps with my finger tips in various ways over the years but nothing that extreme! I hope your fingers recover as well as can be expected from some nasty looking wounds.

Interesting to hear Arsene Wengers comments tonight on SSN with regards to buying players in relation to Clubs finances and contributing to helping the club remain profitable. Harry Redknapp and Peter Storrie surely too would have both known what the financial limits of Pompey were but still chose to ignore them when buying players and paying wages beyond their means and can't be blameless for the situation Pompey now find themselves in.

Saints-v-Liverpool 1984, ESPN Classic 9.50pm tonight

Looking at the turf I'm glad our pitch technology has improved, that nearside looks like a plouged field at each end! -
My other half and me done "Special Bet D" Saints 2-0 Yeovil and Villa 2-0 Pompey. We had a very nerve jangling 2nd half after we went 2-0 up knowing the Pompey score. Happy days at full time with £420.00 from a tenner. Couldn't collect from our local Ladbrookes until today though as they didn't have enough to pay out at St Marys after the game though.

We're at home to MK Dons on Sat 24th Oct, hopefully will be back with us by then, if not, would a loan agreement include a clause that he couldn't play against us?

With a side of Fava beans and a nice Chianti?

Did you hear about the constipated Accountant?... He couldn't Budget. And how did he solve his problem?... He worked it out with a pencil.

I think Charlton will be a good test for us and a good game to measure how much we have improved and to see the overall quality of our team. Charlton are a side we have played against regularly over the past several years unlike the teams we have played so far that have maybe raised their games against us and, viewed us as one of the four to beat this season. I understand that Charlton may view us this way too given the history with Pardew but I see this game as a more even contest to see our strengths and weakness against a club more familiar and similar to us in recent times. With both sets of players eager to prove a point for their respective clubs/fans this game could be a great one, hopefully with Saints coming away with a win. If there was ever a game to start us winning, I would hope it was this one.

There was a time last season when we won games when we least expected to, namely Preston and Reading away in a short space of time when we had either lost or drawn all other games either side of those results. Maybe we can win at Charlton too when least expected but hopefully this time continue winning! Charlton 1-2 Saints.

Not sure how he is going to pull this off by attempting to acurately predict the draw, most other shows I've seen of his have involved the glaringly obvious put off by distraction or the power of suggestion. Depending if he gets it right or wrong will make the after show of how he did or didn't get it right more Intriguing.

In the last several years I have continued to watch the team that has knocked England out with the thought if it wasn't them it may have been us, and what could have been. And once they've gone... become impartial. And if a fellow Nation knocked us out... well, these days I'd just be impartial.

I used to be happy to support all British National teams, Football, atheletes, Tennis, etc, however my support of all things British was graduallly eroded away over many years by the hateful and constant abuse of the English in all sports by our neighbouring British nations. You don't have to look much further than the TV interviews of "Joe Public" opinions on the street, comments left on newspaper arcticles about any English successes, web forums, pubs, and even work places to see the dislike from them of the English. In recent years, I have not heard many from a British nation that isn't from England wish us any goodwill in any sport, in fact, only the opposite... that they don't like us and hope we lose and even support other foreign teams than one of their own British neighbours unlike the support they always receive from England. From what I understand the majority of supporters of our other British nations would prefer that we didn't support them too so now I don't. I don't hate them, I don't wish them to lose. I just don't have an opinion of them at all. For me these days, as long as it is England that are doing well I'm happy and as for the other British Nations I just don't care any longer what they do or how they get on.

I'm not too familiar with Apple products, such as Macs, iPods as I've always used Microsoft products but could it be your settings may need to be changed to accept Apple Client, Service or Protocols on your Network ? Not sure if you've tried or looked at this too?

He never made any remark asking to be excused from it. And just because I respect that he was honest about it doesn't mean I agree with what he done. But after all the great things he has done for this club I'm also not going to start slating one of the best players I watched for years at this club either and my opinion of him hasn't changed.

Following on from TDD, and as stated most flash memory is assembled in China from Silicon wafer cut in Japan in fab plants soley owned by Toshiba and SanDisk, SanDisk being a 100% american company and the patent holder for flash memory which all other companies have to pay a royalty to them to produce. The problem of dodgy Flash Memory such as SD, Micro, and USB come from the many illegal replication plants in China where they are bulk purchased in high volume from genuine product distributors at a low cost and are regraded fusion products that look original to every last detail including the packaging and is probably the key source of some product containing the virus software TDD speaks of.

I didn’t think at any time MLT was glamorising the fact that he was involved in a betting scam in the book, and was more a sheepish admission of naivety as one of his other attempts to make a bit of money where it is followed on from his failures with Celebration Plaza. MLT explains he was nervous knowing TV cameras were watching, and after the experience he had when it went wrong whether for gain or because of the scrutiny of the TV cameras learned enough in those 70 seconds to never do it again. Being a fans favourite at a club he loves, MLT probably knew he had far more to lose than gain from the experience. At the time there were probably more high profile players who couldn’t give a toss for clubs and fans that were doing the same thing and maybe every week too. This incident has hardly made front page news and dragged MLT and SFC’s name through the mud compared to a lot of players for other clubs over the years and others that invariably will in the future too, and as far as I’m concerned MLT still is a respected ambassador for the club and will continue to be, at least we know he is honest about his past mistakes, many aren’t and many have also been accused of far worse.

The most shocking saints gift you've been given?
Gigersaint replied to Pilchards's topic in The Saints
When I was a kid in the mid 70's I was given a Moneybox that was a hairy blackbird with a gold beak in a Saints shirt. I had it on my window sill until my late teens but don't know what happened to it... or what a Blackbird had to do with Saints. -
Thanks for that! Now I know I'm not nuts afterall, just have a bad memory that needs a jolt... now I've remembered that Gaffney scored too.

Did he play in Jason Dodds testimonial... or was it the other guy from eastenders with the dog? ...or am I just going nuts, I can't remember, it was a while ago now.

What do you think is the number one reason why......

I liked this post a lot, especially that part, I'm happy that we have St Marys but I wish it could have the same atmosphere we used to have back at The Dell, it wasn't just an atmosphere you could hear, it was one you could see too with animation as well as the noise in every stand when it was needed the most.
