  1. Isn't that where the street name sign has been ever so slightly altered?
  2. I originally said 12th. More than happy I was a bit wrong... now I hope I'm a lot more wrong and we sneak the play offs on the last day of the season.
  3. Got Huddersfield down to lose against Millwall, Draw Colchester, Draw Exeter and hope we can win our remaining games, think we can at least still afford 1 draw if we dont win them all with our better GD finishing on the same 76 points.
  4. What a brilliant night of mixed emotions, got a feeling this is going to go to the last game of the season with the game against Southend being a real nail biter as last games of the season used to be at the Dell but this time for a different reason!
  5. Had Huddersfield down as a win on the BBC predictor, thought for a moment there it was looking even better for us to finish 6th, still hoping for a further slip up from them yet. Millwall and Colchester being key.
  6. Huddersfield, you bastards!
  7. Did it just crash a slight bit?? Mine hung and wouldn't refresh. Bugger Hudds equalise.
  8. Get in walsall!!!!!!!!
  9. Great night, what a time to score 5 away from home. Hope Huddersfield and Colchester are seriously looking over their shoulders at us now and get even more jitterery in the run in.
  10. Hopefully scoring tonight will be a big lift for Schneiderlin and he will go on and score a couple more in the run in too.
  11. Anyone know if this game live on Sky on Friday?
  12. Get in!!! Come on Saints, keep this pressure on... we can do this.
  13. I understand where you are coming from but I'm not sure any of us know what the real answer is, we were from October through December getting wins away from home even if pitches were poorer than we are used to playing on at home in fixtures away such as Southend, Oldham, Bristol Rovers, Hartlepool, Northampton, and Walsall, some of these in atrocious weather. The team without the January additions was strong enough for these wins under Pardews team selection so he was getting things right. With the additional strengthening from January onwards we should maybe have been building on these wins and pushing further than we have managed so far. Pardew is still in the first season of building a great team for the future and no doubt he will know he has made mistakes along the way as individual members of the team probably have too. As earlier results away from home have proved before during October - December it can't just be Pardew and it can't be just the players performance but somewhere between they need to find the balance they had back then and keep it. It may be too late for this season but there shouldn't be any excuses for the next with the performances we know they are capable of, from Pardew and right through the team where even a negative looking formation next season can be a positive and match winning one. I beleive we have the right Manager and he is building the right team to get us back up. It's frustrating we have the set backs and expectations have risen but I think the main reason for my own frustration of not getting promoted is the good work that Pardew has done so far to have even given us the hope that we could bounce back after this season let alone winning a Trophy on the way. For the moment though I think we are enjoying the early fruits of success even if what we would like now is more frustrating and taking longer than we may have thought.
  14. That's the hardest thing... and I keep thinking the same but then when I look at Colchesters remaining fixtures I find a little hope from somewhere and go into the next game pumped up for us to get a win and close the gap again. Arrrrgghhh... why am I finding this Season so hard. I've really enjoyed it not even expecting promotion this season but then I get frustrated that we have got so close but we're still so far. If we don't make it at least I can be put out of my misery with the hope and look forward to next season where I would like to think we are up there at the top and being challenged for the League 1 Championship.
  15. If we can keep pressure from now until the end of the season does anyone think that our goal difference could be worth the extra "point" we may need now to scrape the Play Offs?... Provided Huddersfield and Colchester fail to pick up points keeping us at bay.
  16. 8 points from 7th, 11 points from 6th. Bristol Rovers and MK Dons catchable but really have to hope now that Huddersfield and Colchester slip up badly for us to reach the play offs. I keep on telling myself that we have left it too late but as long as it stays mathematically possible I keep on hoping, even if it is becoming more feint as each game ticks by.
  17. Huge LOL, thought the commentary were joking being it was Brighton.
  18. Do that again Sid, last two times you said that we've scored.
  19. 4 Minutes... come on!!!!!!
  20. Come on Saints, go on and get us a winner!!!
  21. Brighton close again with Barnes!
  22. Waigo, Barnard coming on, possibly Seabourne too?
  23. Antonio getting a shot away too. Come on Saints.
