Get in, knew there must have been a goal after getting stuck for an age on a refresh!

Thank **** for that, hopefully Bournemouth will try push forward and open up for us to add a couple more.

Probably the funniest thing I've seen in ages!

Meanwhile on a PFC forum, the SFC media takeover thread reaches page 100. -
I'm not quite sure what to make of all this. From SFC's point of view I can understand why they would want to use match day images as an avenue for an additional income stream, which at this time is probably best tested now at the current level we remain before any such time we are promoted when the storm could be that much bigger. There were several links to fans forums on here throughout last season where opposition fans were not even aware that we had been brought, still believing we were skint and in admin, I don't recall seeing many, if any, full page articles covering our new owner such was the coverage in the press, though sure plenty if not most opposition fans now know about the external photography ban due to how quickly this has story has spread. However, despite all this for the press side of it, I always read anything in any paper I can find relating to stories on SFC no matter which Newspapers the match reports or club news appears in, if I can find anything on us at all these days, (Excluding Sun JPT Final edition ) and not that there was much when we were a Premier League team either. However, in that respect it now means I miss out reading balanced overall opinion on us too from the nationals. So, is the press kicking up despite the fact they give us very little in coverage now that we may some day get back to the top flight where they'll have more to lose if this external photographer ban continues? Is it down to not how it affects them now, but how it may or may not affect them in the future?

Which would also need to be agreed in advance before in terms of contract with supplier with regards to production, if even an option in the first instance. Of that, who knows what is agreed between Clubs and Umbro, but agree with you that it would certainly help.

+1, agree with that, not any others with a connection to the Blue Few I could say that about.

Is there a possibility that many shirts were sold on the morning of the Reading Friendly on Saturday? I got mine on Friday morning without any problem. If there is a shortage of shirts now it could also be that the club under forecast which would have an impact on manufacturing lead time, shipping although inconvenient to Club it could be reduced by using air instead of sea if they are from China to fulfil demand. But if manufacturers have to switch production due to under forecast it can take weeks for the buying company to recover. Could it be that the Club based their forecast on previous new shirt releases and got the forecast for this one completely wrong by under-estimating how popular it would prove to be?

Beer is now cheaper? Was £ 3.20, is now £ 3.00, I know many don't like the beer at St Marys but at least it's cheaper now
-
This? http://www.letseatdirect.com/acatalog/Soda.html Pricey, but the real thing and can be picked up in MK shopping centre or they deliver, they also sell Premium Saltines... yum.

My other half and me are going into what will be a 2nd marriage for both of us on Dec 20th this year, although we've kept costs down, limited guest numbers mainly to immediate and close family, using registry office, etc it's still costing us over 6k in total including the honeymoon and is half the cost of my first one but still bloody steep... seems my idea of small and cheap wasn't the same as hers.

That's exactly the point though isn't it? We all see plenty of examples of drivers who aren't confident and can be worse than this every day and you've just proved Dunes point. If speed cameras have this effect on very inexperienced or poorly skilled drivers then these very cameras don't actually help at all and as you agreed with Dune they are more of a danger to the type of people who "spend more time watching the speedo ... than the road" Yes?

It appears that Nick Illingsworth has been refused a season ticket
Gigersaint replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
Quote LA77 "I can't be bothered to read 14 pages of this, so I'm not sure what you're on about. I take it you've mentioned this earlier? Why doesn't illingsworth do that, then post up what happened? Or is that too simple" I mentioned the same earlier too, I wouldn't sit around waiting for an email or a phone call, I'd be down there face to face wanting to know why. Although surely Nick would have done so? I've seen no mention that he has though, but you can't ignore someone face to face without giving them some confirmed answer. -

Gigersaint replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
Further to some recent obsevations regarding NC it is odd that after numerous contact at all levels that Nick still doesn't have an answer, whether an admin error, banned, or otherwise. From what I've seen, heard of Nick Illingsworth over the years he too certainly has never struck me as someone who would be easily fobbed off time and time again without some kind of definitive answer. Any fan without response after several weeks I'm sure would be visiting the ticket office in person to sort it out further to emails and phone calls, perhaps even requesting an appointment if deemed necessary enough? Surely they aren't ignoring him if he has gone in person to the ticket office too without offering some explanation? I wouldn't walk away without knowing if I could renew my ST or not and the reason why, from Nicks reputation I can't see that he would either? Not doubting the comments from Nick that have been posted here but this is the bit I'm struggling to understand or am I missing something. -
Ok I'd probably go... P 46 HW 19 HD 3 HL 1 F 58 A 18 AW 10 AD 7 AL 6 F 42 A 23 Pts 97 Shefffield Wednesday for home defeat , several pitches still hindering away form somewhat, but hopefully still finishing on 97 pts with improved GS and GA with a complete team from the off building on overall results from last season.

I got wasted on a night out on the beers with some other added chemicals several years ago, upon returning to my mates flat later we discovered there was no beer left. My mate decided in the middle of the night to go out and try and find somewhere open to get some more leaving me alone at his place... which I promptly forgot about. I don't know how long it had been but I turned on every light and opened every cupboard looking for him in the flat wondering where he had disappeared to when there was a knock at the door, some bloke who was a friend of his barged past me and sat in the lounge telling me he'd wait for him. I'd heard about this bloke and knew he was leaving the UK for a new life abroad, oddly in my state I got it into my head this guy was a professional killer and started asking him how many hits he had done, if he was any good and had he just bumped my mate off before leaving... and was I next? The bloke sat there the whole time while I was asking and never responded once, eventually I escaped pretending I needed a glass of water. The next day my mate called me and asked where I had gone last night? why every door and cupboard in his flat was open, why every was light on as well why I asked his other mate about being a hitman and why he was fleeing the UK! It was only then I had a very vivid recollection of the events the night before... just glad his other mate left the country very soon after so I didn't have to face him again!

Upon seeing on Sky News Gazza turning up p***ed I thought... then seeing this on here good work, quick too.
-
Like it, as I did the last one we had in black. Will definitely be getting this one as soon as I can.
-
....anyway Thank you Markus and Nicola, Thanks for a great year, a great season, and looking forward to a future of further success.

Renewed mine today, expected a queue as I couldn't get there until 6.00pm when I thought a few others would be there after being paid on last day of the month. Quite surprised that there was no queue and no one else arrived during the time I arrived and the time I left, although the guy at the ticket office said it had been steady all day.

Cannot stand the Compare the Market.com ads with those bloody meerkats, even worse when speaking to people who now decide to add "simples" at the end of their sentences :smt076 Shane Warne and his hair implant TV ads annoy me too, only used to be on the back page of the paper, now they're on both. He's been harping on about it for years now, is he ever going to shut up about it. It can't be that good as it appears he's their only customer.

Well, looks like I'll be coming alone next season. With a wedding and honeymoon to pay for before December this year we were going to use the instalment plan for the very first time for the soon-to-be Mrs and me this year... Oops... and bloody typical, Now that is out as an option I'll be renewing alone as we can't afford both (Using some wedding money as it is this month to renew just mine) despite our budget for our wedding, that wasn't an easy discussion When it has been just the Missus and me we've currently been Itchen Centre but alone I'm thing of moving to Kingsland/Northam corner.I have mates who regularly get matchday tickets but always in different areas, but where is best to get my season ticket so that for odd games we can still have a chance of getting seats together? Worst overall, my Missus has always been happy to be the driver so I could have a few beers in the past... but not next year... Wouldn't be so bad if I still lived in Southampton... but I'm saving towards getting a home for us back there too as well as saving and paying for our wedding and honeymoon... I Hate Money... AND NO!!! A CREDIT CARD ISN'T AN OPTION further to everything else that has to be paid for this year. Strange that a few on here think that using or appying for additional credit cards are the answer to everything without giving thought to how others are using their current credit card facilities beyond just football!! So back to my original question... where is best to sit alone but still with decent atmosphere that my mates, missus and I have a chance of getting tickets together regularly with me now being the only season ticket holder?

Wondered if anyone knows why the HD offering from the BBC is so poor and why BBC1 especially still does not have its own dedicated HD Channel for the full programme line up even if it was upscaled as the majority of C4 and ITV HD are? Even Luxe and Sci Fi offer full HD and upscaled programmes so why can't the BBC, surely these channels don't have the budget BBC do? I thought, maybe in ignorance, that the BBC were one of the worlds best funded broadcasters but it appears not, why do they seem to be far behind their competitors given the amount of money they recieve from licence payers? It can't be down to advertising alone on other channels as the BBC still do enough of that anyway no matter how discreet they try to be about it.

I can imagine how gutting it was to have been there believing we had just won in the 90th minute to take all three points only to see them grab that f**king equaliser straight again after. To see and hear that so late after a moments jubilation it felt more like we had lost the game... and it p**sed me off enough at home let alone the thoughts I had for you all travelling back from the game too.

Up until the Oldham game I had a glimmer of hope that we may scrape the Play offs. But after Tuesday I have, feeling gutted, resigned myself that we will more than likley still be in League 1 again next season. However I am still going to enjoy and be fully behind the team for the remaining 2 home games we have left, and also listen to the Gills game away and if by some miracle we do still finish in the Play offs then I will of course be extremely happy. Arrgghh... there's that bloody glimmer again. As much as I've enjoyed this season I can't wait for it to end, it's getting bloody painful! It's like the nail biting agony in the last few minutes of playing Wimbledon at home on the last day of the season with Liverpool away at Man City in 1996 stretched out over several weeks!!!!
