Sir Alex has a soft spot for us I think. On the day we got the Dutch duo, he knew who they were, and all about them, this, before I even got a text from any of my Saints' fans friends. Took me by surprise of his knowledge of us and warmth he displayed. Or maybe he is just a lot more ITK and a lot nicer then many believe.

Looks like the 'concentrate on the league' camp will be happy.

I was at a work do at St Marys a few years back. Booze all paid for, talking quite loud etc etc. I was at the game before this one and was talking (shouting) to a colleague over the table that we played well as a team, but Euell was really ****e. My colleague asked me (smiling) if I would say this to his face. I said' of course'. Good say's my colleague, he's behind you listening. F Off says I, your taking the ****. I turn around. Turn back to the table. Excuse myself from the table, and walk off, rather quietly.

Seems we often do well this way round. Most clubs seem to attack towards their vocal support in the second half.

So, what ones are left now to solve?

My way of interpruting this would be that we are (as a club) ahead of the schedule. This to me means development of the training ground, staff recruitment, improvements to the club etc etc. To continue to be ahead of schedule, we then also need promotion this year. Football wise, we cant be ahead or behind at the moment because only our final standing when the season has ended will dictate this.

Like designing and introducing a new Supersonic Airliner would be a backward step? Re-introduction of old(er) ideas is not always a backward step. I think it would improve the experience for many and the atmosphere in a stadium for most.

No, it was tounge in cheek with the doom mongerers about teams around us winning/drawing etc. Just concentrate on winning our games till the end of the season and we will be ok.
